Nandamuri Balakrishna (Telugu:నందమూరి బాలకృష్ణ), fondly called as Balayya by his fans is one of the most popular actors in Telugu film industry today.He is one of the huge crowd pullers of Telugu industry after his illustrous father, the late NTR. Balayya is well known for his versatality in doing various roles ranging from Mythology to action and faction dramas. Although, his career career graph is on the decline recently due to a string of flops, he is still one of the most sought after actors of Telugu cinema.

Some of his films like Muddula Mamayya, Mangammagaari Manavadu,Rowdy Inspector,Samarasimha Reddy, Narasimha Naidu created box office records not heard or seen in the annuls of the Telugu film history.He is supposed to be the only modern day actor who looks so convincing in both Mythological as well as commercial films.Although, some of his recent films didn't do well at the box-office, his fans expect a lot from his future projects.
