Dani Phantom, also known as Danielle, is a fictional character and superhero/sidekick from Danny Phantom. A female version of Danny Phantom. She was created by his arch enemy Vlad Plasmius for his creepiest project ever, a clone of Danny Phantom. Unlike the other clones, excluding the primary clone, she was the closest to prefection. She has a mind of her own, a human form, and appears much stronger than the others, though she still melts (if overusing her powers, she will melt).
Kindred Spirits
Template:Spoiler She came to Danny's home claiming to be his third cousin once removed. He agreed to let her stay, but only if she spoke with his parents, which caused her to run off, where one of the clones remained waiting for Danny. She "helped" him destroy the clone, and pretended to faint. He left her in the guest bedroom in the Fentonworks Op-Center, only to disappear the next day.
She reappears to greet Danny, and dump food on Sam and Tucker. Danny acts as a responsible relative to her, then starts to bond with her, until he asks how she got her powers. That's when another clone attacks, thus the two race after it. Danny then battles with Vlad, and Danielle ends up helping her "daddy" by knocking out Danny. Dani watches her father's speech to Danny about creating a clone, and using the imperfect clones to his advantage. After Danny escapes, Danielle asks her dad what he meant before, and lies that he wasn't talking about her and plans to stabilize her. She follows his orders and attacks Danny.
Danny tells her he won't fight her because she isn't mindless and she is starting to melt. She then asks him to let Vlad "save" her, but Danny tells her he is lying, but she doesn't belive him, and knocks him out again. He wakes up in a contain chamber, where Vlad asks Danielle to overshadow Danny, which could destroy her. He then yells at her to do so, and realizes Danny was right about him. SHe frees him and helps him defeat Vlad, warning him to stay away from her cousin. She helps Danny from getting grounded and flies off into the sunset, promising to meet her "cousin" again.
So far, Dani has only appeared in a single episode, but she has promised to return at the end of that one episode, so she's bound to make another appearance like Danny's ultimate enemy, Dark Danny.
Personality
Danielle acts similarly to Danny, only more childish. She seems to have no concern with responsibility, and is dependant on someone. At first being Vlad, then Danny. She is also loyal to someone she cares for, as shown when she warned her former "dad" to stay away form her "cousin", Danny.
Appearance
In human form, she has the same skin, eyes and hair as Danny Fenton, only her hair is in a ponytail. She wears a red beanie, lipstick, red shorts, a blue sweater, and has the same shoes as Danny, only blue with white dots on the side.
In ghost form, her skin, eyes and hair (still in a ponytail) are the same as Danny Phantom. The right of her shirt is inverted, her arm is white and her glove is black. She has no belt, instead her waist, as well as her belly button, are shown. She has streaks of white on the sides of her pants, and wears white shoes. She has the same emblem as Danny, only it is sometimes darker.
Ghost Powers
Dani Phantom has all the current powers as Danny.
- Ghost Sense – Dani has the same ghost sense as her cousin. She does not trigger his ghost sense, since she is half-ghost and his almost perfect clone.
- Transformation – Like Danny, she goes ghost and uses white rings in her transformation.
- Intangibility & Invisibility – Standard ghost powers.
- Flying/Floating/Hovering – Standard ghost powers.
- Paranormal Strength, Speed, Agility and Durability – She has the same physical abilities like Danny. Apparently, they don't cause her to melt, she can use these powers withouht problems. Like Danny, she is somewhat a weakling without her powers.
- Ectoplasmic Energy Blast - "Ghost Ray" – She fires the same kind of blast as her cousin, it even comes in the same color. Apparently the more she uses this power, the more she melts.
- Ectoplasmic Energy Shield - "Ghost Shield" – She is not seen using this power, but since she is Danny's clone, she could use it as well.
- Overshadowing/Possession – She took control of her "aunt", Maddie and Mr. Lancer to save Danny, Sam and Tucker from getting grounded (thankfully, she didn't need to overshadow Jack, since he's gullible enough to believe anyone). When she overshadows someone, she maintains their voices, but not their eyes.
- Wall Walking – She, along with other ghosts, can use this power. This is apparently an addition to her hovering powers.
- Ghostly Wail? – Although she is Danny Phantom's clone, she apparently doesn't have a Ghostly Wail. A popular theory is that the equipment Vlad gave to Valerie Gray took Danny's DNA and recorded his powers, but since Danny never used the Ghostly Wail on Valerie, Danielle and the other clones never learned this power. Of course, even if Dani did have the Ghostly Wail, the energy strain of the attack would be too much for her unstable body to handle, so she wouldn't be able to use it anyway.
Trivia
- Dani Phantom is the second "alternate" form of Danny, who came into existance because of his powers, the first was Dark Danny in The Ultimate Enemy.
- Being Danny's clone, she also has the sae interests as him. She likes Dumpty Humpty, she wants to be an astronaut, and she hates the school bully, Dash Baxter.
- She is the first and only female ghost hybrid (halfa). She is also the youngest, being 12 years old, but is really less than a year, since it hasn't been a full year since Danny gained his powers.
