Arris

Generally used as the sharp edge formed by two surfaces meeting.

An arris is an architectural term that describes the intersection between two outside planes [convex] such as the corner of a masonry unit; the junction between two planes of plaster or any intersection of divergent architectural details.

The origin is from the Old French 'areste' meaning fishbone. See also Arete (landform).
