Personal life
Born in San Francisco as Bradley Darryl Wong, he attended Lincoln High School before graduating from San Francisco State University. He is currently on the board of advisors for Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment (CAPE).
He and then-partner Richie Jackson hired a surrogate mother to bear their child. Jackson's sister provided the ovum. The boy, Jackson Foo Wong, was one of a set of twins born on May 28, 2000. The child's twin, Boaz Dov Wong, died at birth, the result of twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome. Wong wrote a book, Following Foo: the Electronic Adventures of the Chestnut Man, about the experience.
