Heather Joan Graham (born January 29, 1970) is an American actress, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Heather Graham's father Jim, is a FBI agent father and her mother Joan, a writer. Heather Graham has a younger sister Aimee Graham who is also an actress.

Heather Graham was brought up in a strict Catholic family. Growing up in Virginia where he father worked as an FBI agent Heather Graham attended Sumac Elementary School. Her framily then moved to California where she attended Lindero Canyon Middle School, and finally, Agoura High School.

After high school Heather Graham moved to Hollywood where she worked different jobs while trying to establish herself as an actress. Heather Graham's parents were insistent that she should not appear in any movie featuring sex. This cost her the lead role in Heathers 1989, the dark high school comedy that made an instant star of Winona Ryder.

Though she had a number of acting parts including Nadine in Drugstore Cowboy 1989, her break through role was that of Roller Girl in Boogie Nights (1997).

Heather Graham is currently estranged from her parents.

More recently, she starred as Mary Kelly in the film From Hell (2001), based on the story of Jack the Ripper.

She was named by People Magazine as one of the "50 Most Beautiful People in the World 2001" [1].

Heather enjoyed special guest-star status on several episodes of NBC-TV's Scrubs in the Fall of 2004.
