Judy Winslow was the third daughter of Harriette and Carl Winslow in the famed show Family Matters, which ran on ABC from 1989 until 1998. Judy, played by Jaimee Foxworth, however, only lasted four seasons, and was cut, due to a "budget consideration," said William Bickley, the show's creator and one of the writers. Foxworth ended her run on the show at the end of the season when the three children went up the stairs to their room and she never came back down again.

The show went on to follow other routes of entertainment, specifically geared around the nerdy neighbor Steven Q. Urkel.
