The Second Amendment of the Constitution of Ireland, the founding legal document of the Republic of Ireland, was signed into law on 30th May, 1941. It was an omnibus amendment to a variety of articles aimed at tidying up the constitution and responding to practical lessons learnt since the document's adoption.
