A place with 370 people isn't notable, unless something notable happened there. Shane King 06:32, Oct 25, 2004 (UTC)

  • Keep. Shane, there are literally thousands of American localities with much smaller populations that have been botted in. Would you suggest they should all be deleted?Dr Zen 06:40, 25 Oct 2004 (UTC)
    • Exactly. Keep. -- Jmabel | Talk 06:57, Oct 25, 2004 (UTC)
    • Yes. Shane King 07:42, Oct 25, 2004 (UTC)
      • Get to it then, son. You've a big task ahead of you!Dr Zen 08:29, 25 Oct 2004 (UTC)
        • If that's the consensus, then they'd be deleted in time, there's no rush to have them all deleted right away. I just think a town of 370 people is really not any more notable than most of the pages about people or websites that get deleted for being vanity. I personally desire consistency more than any particular policy. Shane King 10:05, Oct 25, 2004 (UTC)
          • I daresay you're right, Shane. It would be a pity to cut Bawlf out though. I visited their website, and it turns out it was formerly quite an important town.
          • I'm not sure though what makes a place "notable". Some people think it's okay to include entries for schools! Personally, I don't think it does any harm to include entries for any locality that someone might want to know about. But I accept that YMV.Dr Zen 10:16, 25 Oct 2004 (UTC)
