John Nathan Deal (born August 25 1942), American politician, has been a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives since 1997, representing the 10th District of Georgia. He was born in Millen, Georgia, was educated at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, served in the United States Army, and was a lawyer, assistant district attorney, judge and member of the Georgia Senate before entering the House.
