It can also be one of the following:
- Diva Muffin Zappa, daughter of composer Frank Zappa
- Diva (1992 album) is the title of the 1992 debut solo album by Annie Lennox.
- Diva is also the title of a 1981 movie by Jean-Jacques Beineix (IMDB link).
- Diva is a magazine for lesbians in the United Kingdom.
- In current usage among the younger generation, the term diva is used to describe a talented and confident woman. "Divas Wanted" is a membership drive campaign initiated by Sweet Adelines International to appeal to that demographic.
- Diva is also a song by Dana International. The song was the winner of Eurovision song contest in 1998 and also the popular hit in the same year (#11 Top UK). Recently the popular Russian singer Filipp Kirkorov made a cover version of the "Diva".
- A female professional wrestler is often called a diva, especially in World Wrestling Entertainment.
- A less flattering use of the term diva has come about in that the term is sometimes seen as interchangeable with the word bitch; that being a negative term to describe an unpleasant, demanding, and troublesome woman.
- Diva A prima donna, eg, Dame Joan Sutherland or Dame Margot Fonteyn.
