Heinz Hall hosts the renowned Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra in Pittsburgh's Cultural District. Broadway performances, concerts, and stage shows also run at the 2,662-seat venue. The theatre was originally opened as the Lowe's Penn Theatre in 1927, which closed in 1964. Major restoration and renovation allowed the hall to reopen in 1971.
