Justice League Heroes is an action role-playing game featuring characters from the DC Comics universe. It is currently under development for the Xbox, PlayStation 2, PSP, GBA and the Nintendo DS.
Summary
The game is based on the Justice League of America, a group made up of DC's top superheroes, including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and the Flash. There was another Justice League game in development from Midway Games that was cancelled in 2004 - it is "totally unrelated to the current project," according to Warner Bros.[citation needed] The game is set to be released on October 24, 2006.
The missions will allow 2 characters to be played at a time; about half the time the game dictates which characters are played and the other half the player chooses the characters.
The Nintendo DS edition of the game is a prequel to the console title. The GBA edition of the game is a side-story titled Justice League Heroes: The Flash and focuses primarily on that character, with the other Justice League members as support.[1]

When the roster of playable characters available from the game's start was announced, many noted the similarity to the original 7 members of the DCAU Justice League. In fact, the starting 7 in the game is the exact same as that in the cartoon, with John Stewart & Wally West as Green Lantern & Flash respectively and the only difference being Zatanna instead Hawkgirl.
