Overview
Users submit photos of their goods online for appraisal, and the company then manages aspects of the selling, shipping and installation process.[4]. Move Loot earns 50% of the selling price when items are sold.[1] The company assesses furniture prior to posting it, and has minimum standards for style and quality.[1] Part of they company's business paradigm is for less furniture to be sent to landfills and to increase the length of time furniture is used.[5]

Move Loot was founded by Bill Bobbitt (CEO), Jenny Morrill (CMO), Ryan Smith (CTO), and Shruti Shah (Head of Expansion)[6].
