Hello. Could you do me one final favour before I retire from Wikipedia? I would truly appreciate it. Please respond on my talk page. Thank you. —Eternal Equinox | talk 00:46, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've come and done what I wanted to accomplish on Wikipedia. Additionally, I am currently studying elsewhere in the world and will not have any free time on my hands from June 26 forward. I would appreciate it if you could expand the data at Image:Gwen Stefani Cool chart trajectories.png in the same format because I found another chart which I believe would be useful for cruftists (such as myself). If you agree, I will place the new chart trajectory here. —Eternal Equinox | talk 21:21, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hey again. I've yet to receive a response but judging from your contributions, you've edited since I sent the last message. —Eternal Equinox | talk 22:28, 16 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Would it be possible if you could copy the graph at Image:Gwen Stefani Cool chart trajectories.png and include some additional information into it? Sorry if I was not clear enough. —Eternal Equinox | talk 15:29, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Music Samples

Hi, I see you've responded to the straw poll at Wikipedia_talk:Music_samples. Since your vote, there has been some further discussion here, and I've suggested a slight amendment to the proposed guideline. I'd really appreciate your feedback on the subject. Thanks! --Wine Guy Talk 19:58, 1 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Definition lists

Please see Wp:lists#Definition lists for an example of that format, which is useful when entries in a list have brief paragraphs after them. -- Avi 19:59, 6 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image deletion

Sorry about the confusion. The image was tagged with {{NowCommonsThis}}. However, I didn't realize that the Commons version was not up to date. I fully restored it, but it would be helpful if you could upload the latest version to Commons and move over all the image information, so that it can be deleted from Wikipedia. Thanks. Music samples

Hi, you answered a question I asked on Wikipedia Talk:Music samples about what to do if a copyrighted music sample exceded the agreed length. You said to list it for deletion etc. I need help please, because I don't know what to do. I've listed a few - including Image:07 Carmen la que contaba 16 años.ogg and Image:02 Brisas del Torbes.ogg. I notified the uploader who removed the ifd tag I placed. I reverted and the tag was again removed and replaced by a GNU tag, so I reverted and left a message on the user's talk page. (User talk:GJRFMorelligu) Once again he/she has removed the ifd tag and this time replaced it with "copyright holder allows this to be used for any purpose". There are other long samples added by the same user but I see no point in listing them if they're going to be reverted straight away. This user seems to be blindly and randomly selecting tags to put on these files but what can I do? As soon as I tag the page, it's being reverted, and a new, incorrect tag put in its place. Any suggestions or help would be welcome. Thanks Rossrs 13:44, 18 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

user is also putting incorrect GNU tags on images such as Image:The young Morella Muñoz.jpg. Rossrs 14:04, 18 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the reply. I'll keep an eye on how this develops and at least now I know there is another avenue. Rossrs 10:09, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Human rights in Lebanon

Instead of adding tags upon tags, it would be better if you, as someone who seems to know a thing or two about Lebanon, could add substantial information about Human rights in Lebanon. --Gabi S. 10:25, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Lebanese governorates maps

Hi Cedar-Guardian. I'm gonna upload these maps you made to Commons, so other wikipedias can use them too. And by the way, they're pretty good. --Cattus 03:12, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please help to improve it to match the quality of an ideal Wikipedia science article.

Thanks for voting! It's a big article this month, but I'm confident that we can make it comprehensive, well-referenced and well-written.

Help

Hello, I know you're involved in lebanon-related articles, what do you think about wikipedia's israel-lebanon war article. It seems not enough at all is being said about whats actually happening in Lebanon, the pain, suffering, israeli war crimes...Or what life is like under the bombs. It seems the article dosent reallly say anything, and more jews are editing it than us lebanese. What do u think?--Doge120 03:41, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

UN resolutions

Hi Cedar-Guardian! Great name for the protector of a great nation! I noticed that you have been working on the UN resolutions regarding Lebanon in Lebanon and the United Nations, just dawned on me that the resolution texts could be in Wikisource. And yes, it turns out that some diligent people are adding the full text to every UN resolution since 1946 to Wikisource. You can find them at Wikisource:UN Security Council Resolutions, and they have so far put in everything between 1946 and 1960. This means that that those currently red resolution numbers in Lebanon and the United Nations should of course link there, and if you want to run ahead of them because you have access to resolution texts regarding Lebanon for later years, they have already created a page as well as a format for the text, so you would only have to pop it in there and then link it to Lebanon and the United Nations.

When I find the time, I'll be happy to lend a hand to your Lebanon project. I started to re-write the then dreadful history article remotely (i.e. in Word) some time ago, but left it for more urgent stuff (such as the current disaster). I just had a look and noticed that it has already been much improved in a month's time. Best regards Thomas Blomberg 04:27, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've taken your advice and moved this article over to a table format. I've also made a substantial number of changes, making the article considerably larger and more comprehensive than when you last reviewed it. I'd appreciate if you could spare some time to review and add your opinion. Thanks very much. Colin Harkness°Talk 21:40, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I think I've addressed your latest concerns: the lead is now much longer. I've commented on the FLC page re: the title. I hope that isn't a sticking-point. Cheers, Colin Harkness°Talk 09:25, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
