I'm an amateur photographer working on my master's in documentary production. I'm due to graduate in May 2003 and will, I hope, have a job somewhere doing something I don't hate.
Mostly I play in film, though sometimes in literature, and sometimes just "Random Page" and canonize names or copy-edit. I've wandered over to the metawikipedia site to contribute a minor rant about how to write about and not write about film--partly to tell others, and partly to remind myself. :-)
A few articles I've contributed to significantly are film noir, Dziga Vertov, color temperature, foley artist, Dave Brubeck, Ingmar Bergman, Joel and Ethan Coen, digital video, The Thin Blue Line, and Spider-Man.
I've contributed pictures I shot to pistachio, almond, Spanish moss, rust, Wandering Jew, shrimp plant, marigold, coleus, depth of field, color temperature, cattail, canna lily, kiwifruit, cumulus, sunflower, blueberry, spiderwort, dragonfly, and Moebius strip, and expect to contribute many more. I've released all of those pictures into the public domain, though some of them are much better than others.
