Shandong (山东) is a coastal province of eastern China. Located in the lower reaches of the Huang He (Yellow River), it borders on the Bo Hai and the Yellow Sea. Population: 90.79 millions (March 2001). Area: 156,700 sq km. Coastline: 3,000 km.
