Matthew "Matty" Kay is a highly-rated professional footballer who currently plays in midfield for Blackpool. He made his first appearance for Blackpool against Scunthorpe on the 13th November 2005, setting a new club record as the youngest player (at 16 years, 32 days) ever to make the Blackpool first team. Trevor Sinclair, now at Manchester City, previously held the record after his debut in 1991.
Kay signed professional terms with Blackpool in June 2006.
