Alexander Emerick Jones (born February 11, 1974) is an American radio host, social critic, and filmmaker. He is best known for questioning the standard accounts of the September 11th terrorist attacks, [1] his exposé of Bohemian Grove, [2] and his regular bulletins on the so-called New World Order.

Views

Alex Jones believes that certain elements of the United States Government are intent on weakening the country and its sovereignty. These elements, he believes, are "paid off" in an effort to shift the balance of power toward the European continent[3], which is in turn under the control of the World Bank, beyond the scope of nation states[4]. Jones refers to these bankers and their "minions" as Globalists.

Jones views this group to be so powerful that they have in practice become untouchouble by Nation-state laws, in some cases even by international law. Jones often quotes "Absolute power corrupts absolutely", and argues that the globalists have become corrupted and arrogant in their quest for additional power. He claims that the globalists are using a variant of Hegelian Dialectic (which he refers to as problem-reaction-solution) to instill fear in the public in order to erode civil rights [5] and to advance any agenda they might have even if the cost is innocent lives.

Jones frequently cites the declassified Operation Northwoods document as a telling example of the federal government's willingness to implement such a strategy. He views the September 11th, 2001 World Trade Center attacks as the most spectacular example in a long world history of problem-reaction-solution events created by "small criminal elements" in the government, and credits himself as having predicted the 9/11 attacks in July of 2001 on his public access TV program before they occurred [6].

Jones claims the mainstream media have been manipulated to such a degree that they are no longer doing their job of being the government watch dogs and instead have become "Propaganda Bureau of the corrupt establishment". [7] Jones has openly stated that he has dedicated his career, as radio talk-show host, his websites, and his documentaries, to exposing "the truth" surrounding what he deems as state-sponsored terrorism, police-state incrementalism in the U.S., and threats to the U.S. and world population, the United States Constitution, and U.S. sovereignty.

His research and discovery methods are accomplished mainly by interviewing who he determines are whistleblowers, scientific and historical experts, scholars, political and religious leaders, victims of events, government officials, and the public for his documentaries, publications, and call-in talk-radio show. He also reads and analyzes mainstream news feeds, government documents, think-tank papers, and other publications, and reports his findings through his media outlets. Jones has frequently referred to the mass media articles and reports, publications, and declassified government documents that he finds as evidence to support his claims, calling them "their own documents"[8]. He states these articles are frequently brushed aside and ignored by the media and subsequently the majority of the population.

Jones appears with a caption for his website prisonplanet.com

Jones views himself first and foremost as a "freedom-loving American patriot"[9] and has referred to Communism, as is practiced in China, as "an excuse for slavery" [10]. Jones avoids talking in terms of "liberal vs. conservative" or "Democrat vs. Republican"; he views those both as being different spectra of the same threat or as being "two sides of the same coin", as he put it during his monologue in Waking Life[11]. However, he does sometimes refer to "saving the republic" of America. He holds the United States' founding fathers in high regard and frequently talks about saving the values that are expressed in the Constitution, which he believes is under threat from things like the USA Patriot Act and the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America agreement[12] between the US, Canada, and Mexico, a significant precursor to the North American Union. Jones has occasionally referred to himself as a constitutionalist on his talk-radio show [13].

He states that he was "pretty secular" during the early 1990s, but became stronger in his Christian beliefs after having become aware of the satanic and occult nature of the elite, for example Skull and Bones and Bohemian Grove. Jones argues that it is not important if one believes in the occult or not, the important thing is that they believe in it. He further argues that it is all a "gang signs" mentality, and that they are spreading their signs everywhere. [14].

He states that he has received multiple death-threats due to him advocating his views, one time being beaten down by four persons. He states that he had received a death-threat as late as 2006-08-16, and that he has made himself prepared for being killed, something he views is likely to happen if he succeeds in receiving much more attention. He further has said that he has a "life ensurance" [15]

Biography

He has a long backrgound from Texas [15] Originally from Rockwall, Texas (a suburb of Dallas), Jones began his career in Austin with a live call-in format cable access television program. Jones is married to Violet Nichols, who appeared in his documentary on the infiltration of the Bohemian Grove (the Ritual-Place Wikimapia).

His accusations against the United Nations, the United States Government, shadowy secret societies and multinational corporations eventually led him to produce a similar, nationally syndicated radio show. His show is broadcast via Internet radio through the Genesis Communications Network. Jones still broadcasts his show, InfoWars, on public access television in Austin. [16] He initially appeared on KJFK-FM in Austin until he was fired in late 1999 when the station was bought by a conglomerate [17].

  • He started his career in 1994 [18]
  • In 1996, Jones switched format to KJFK, hosting a show named The Final Edition [17].
  • During a 1998 Bush rally and speech at DuPont Photomask Facility, Alex asks the following question.

Sir, shouldn't we abolish the Federal Reserve and the CFR? That's the real reality that none of you will talk about and most of you are members. That's what's destroying this country governor. Don't you stand for America sir? What about the Federal Reserve and the FR?[19]

  • In 1997, he released his first documentary film, America Destroyed By Design.
  • In 1999, he helped was a prominent member in a large colaborate effort to build a home for a evicted war-veteran [20].
  • In 1999, he won that year's "Best of Austin" poll as radio host, voted by Austin Chronicle readers. The same year, he was fired from his KJFK show when the station was bought by a conglomerate, since he did not "broaden" (the Statesman's word) his topics. Jones argued that, "It was purely political, and it came down from on high," and, "I was told 11 weeks ago to lay off Clinton, to lay off all these politicians, to not talk about rebuilding the church, to stop bashing the Marines, A to Z." [17].
  • In 2000, Jones and his assistant infiltrated the annual gathering of the Bohemian Club.
  • In June 2001, Jones launched Prisonplanet.com.
  • On July 25, 2001, Jones predicted that an imminent and large attack was going to be directed against the United States. Jones also predicted that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) might blame the attack on their asset Osama Bin Laden [6]. He urged listeners on his radio show, and viewers on his cable access television program to call the White House switchboard. He said

I want the White House numbers up there now. After you research all the government terrorism, and check out what I'm saying is true, call the White House and tell them 'we know the government is planning terrorism, we know Oklahoma City (Bombing) and the World Trade Center (1993 Bombings) were terrorism (from the US Government), we know the Joint Chiefs of Staff want to blow up airliners (Operation Northwoods); (as reported on the [21]) Baltimore Sun. If you do it, we're going to blame you cause we know whose up to it, or if you let some terrorist group do it like the World Trade Center, we know who to blame,' and you could save the planet. I'm calling it "Operation Expose The Government Terrorists".[22]

  • On February 19, 2006, Jones made a short presentation where he argued a coverup in the Dick Cheney hunting incident. He named it "Scientific proof Cheney's shooting story a lie" [26]
  • On March 20, he had Charlie Sheen as a guest on his talk show. The interview received mainstream media coverage and commentary by CNN Showbiz Tonight, Fox News' Hannity & Colmes and the Jimmy Kimmel Live (ABC). al-Jazeera stated that it "provoked a media storm" [27].
  • On June 8, Jones was stopped at the Canadian border and interrogated for 15 hours while on his way to cover the annual meeting of the Bilderberg group [28] at Kanata (near Ottawa), Ontario. Jones reported that he was not the only person detained prior to the conference, saying other political and social activists were similarly restrained [29].
  • The weekend of June 24-25, Jones organized the "9/11 + The Neo-Con Agenda Symposium" in Los Angeles, California [30] (variously referred to as the "L.A. 9/11 Truth Conference" & "9/11 L.A. Scholars Symposium"). Charlie Sheen addressed the audience and introduced Jones [31]. The 9/11 truth symposium, hosted by Alex Jones, featured numerous credible researchers and whistleblowers - as well as a speech by actor Charlie Sheen.

The June 2006 L.A. American Scholars Symposium (a panel discussion from that event) was broadcast on C-Span, and is still the most popular online streaming choice for C-Span viewers, according to their companion Capital News website [45].

The program, carried under the banner of C-Span's 'American Perspectives' slot, caused waves across the Internet and the main stream media after debuting on the weekend of the 29th July 2006, and repeating a further three times. Alex himself is quoted as saying "It is highly unlikely that Dick Cheney's speech which followed the symposium is responsible for any of the ratings!".
The panel discussion featuring Webster Tarply [46], Professor Steven Jones [47], Col. Bob Bowman [48]and Professor James Fetzer [49]can be viewed in full on google video [50].
  • Starting on July 23, 2006, Jones will have a two-hour radio show every Sunday afternoon on KLBJ-AM [32].
  • On a August 10, 2006 prisonplanet.com article, it was declared that Alex Jones predicts "a massive staged false flag terror attack, blamed on Hezbollah or Al-Qaeda, that will light the blue touch paper for World War Three...before the end of October unless a gargantuan effort to prevent it is launched" [33]. He originaly gave the warning on his radio show, still naming it "Operation Expose The Government Terrorists" [34]
  • On a August 16, 2006 Fox News published his August 10th warning and mentioned his pre-9/11 warningn on July 25, 2001. Prisonplanet.com commended the event and proclaimed that the new awarness this causes might hopefully have the effect of the staged attacks not taking place [35].

Personality

Jones' distinct vocabulary, temperament, and body language, in combination with his unorthodox views, have had him labeled by critics with pejoratives [36], while his proponents view the same behaviour as passion [37], enthusiasm[38] and righteous indignation[39]. His animated and aggressive delivery is arguably most prominent in his 2002 documentary "9-11: The Road to Tyranny" that he released the year after the 9/11 attacks. He is comparatively more reserved and professional in his delivery narrating his 2006 documentary "TerrorStorm".

He has expressed remorse for the times he used an arrogant or aggressive delivery, since he "speaks from the heart" when he sees "good people with love in their eyes" being treated wrongfully by the "wolves" and "agents of evil".[40] Some of his often used phrases include:[41]

Views on Alex Jones

Jones is fearless and thoughtful. Do I agree with everything the man says? Heck, no. But then, he probably wouldn't accept all my views either. This isn't about opinions, this is about the dissemination of crucial news otherwise denied the American public by the mainstream media propaganda machinery.

Let me give you three examples from my experience. I've broadcast three stories for BBC Television Newsnight London which have received international attention, but have suffered a virtual blackout on US commercial radio and TV ... except the Alex Jones show. They are

1. The IMF/World Bank documents. In early 2000, BBC TV and the Guardian newspapers of London released sections of a large cache of confidential documents from inside these agencies, the financial arm of the new globalization order. They reveal secretive plans for a virtual financial coup d'etat in several nations, from Argentina to Tanzania. The documents reveal the IMF and World Bank's knowing destruction of economies and cruel hidden demands on these nations.

The information was top of the news in Europe, Latin American and page one in Turkey. Yet in the USA, editors ignored this damning information on the New World Order, in part because US news editors believe the information is far too sophisticated for Americans to understand. Not Jones, he explained the information, gave it a lengthy hearing for his listeners, showing a respect for their intellect not common to US commercial broadcasting.

2. The Bush Administration's hindering FBI and CIA investigations of the bin Ladin family and Saudi Arabian funding of terror prior to September 11, 2001.

US broadcasters were scared to death of airing this report shown on BBC Television's Newsnight on November 6, 2001. Dan Rather of CBS news, who appeared on Newsnight, said that to report stories asking such questions would get him lynched ... he was to fearful to do it. Not Jones. He gave the BBC and Guardian story (which won a California State University journalism award) a full airing. A year later, the US media is beginning to cover the story, timidly, where Jones took it on without hesitation.

3. Theft of the US presidential election. No one could accuse Alex Jones of being a Democratic Party partisan, yet he reported what other mainstream US media delayed reporting for six months: the BBC story that the Bush family and allies had fixed the vote in Florida by illegally removing tens of the thousands of legal Black voters from the state's voter rolls in the months before the November 2000 election. The Washington Post did run the story ... six months after Jones gave the information to his listeners.

You don't have to agree with everything Alex Jones says or reports to say, this guy is a national treasure, a light breaking through the electronic Berlin Wall of the US media establishment. [75]
