Gough Island

Gough Island (also called Diego Alvarez) is an uninhabited volcanic island in the South Atlantic Ocean, about 350 km southeast of Tristan da Cunha. It is a possession of the United Kingdom, but South Africa has maintained a weather station on the island since 1956.
