CBSE expression series is a online or offline essay/poem/drawing competition organised by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for classes first to 12.[1][2] It was initiated in 2014.[3] In 2015, it started in July.[4] A cash prize of INR 2500-25000 is given to each 36 winner (12 in each category).[4][5] In 2014, more than 29000 participated. Entries are accepted in any of 22 scheduled languages and English.[6] The purpose of the contest is to make students aware of the history of women and men who have served the nation.[2]
