Ameet Channa is a popular British actor of Indian heritage who has recieved recent acclaim for his role as "Tony the Gay Guy" in the hit film "Bend It Like Beckham". Channa's performance was hailed as a breakthrough in acting and his character has become one of Britain's most popular contemporary personas. Ameet received an Academy Award nomination and was also knighted by Queen Elizabeth for his contribution to film.

New projects of Channa's include a spinoff film entitled "Bend it Like Tony the Faggot" and a London stage performance of his one man show, "Tony is Gay as Hell".
