Wikipedia:Missing articles for towns and cities with 100,000 or more inhabitants
This is a list of towns and cities in the world believed to have 100,000 or more inhabitants that did not yet have a Wikipedia article as of August 23 2006.
Some of these articles may already exist under slightly different names, in which case please make a redirect to the existing article. Some may be ambiguous, in which case please create a disambiguation page for that name, and correct the entry here to point to the largest of the possible candidates. A few of the names here may be obsolete, in which case please correct them.
But most of these articles are genuinely missing, and will need writing from scratch. In some cases, articles about them may exist in non-English-language Wikipedias, in which case you may want to translate that article into English, or use it as a source of information for a new article. (In either case, please don't forget to add an interwiki link to the corresponding article to the article in another language.)
Optional extras:
When you create an article, you might also want to add it to the right category in the hierarchy under Category:Cities by country, and you might want to add a geotag just to finish it off, see Wikipedia:WikiProject Geographical coordinates for help on how to do this.
See Wikipedia:WikiProject Brazil.
