Born In Iran (Teheran) on 09 February 1928, he died in exile in Los Angeles USA at the age of 79, on 09 June 2006.
Well known for his political analysis on the Iranian radio at the end of the 60's, he was the youngest Iranian chief editor for the daily newspaper Etelaat in the 50's. He became the head of the radio news programs in the 70's, and the Chief Director of Iran's first TV channel in 1976. He became the CEO of the iranian broadcasting network right before the islamic revolutin.
He left Iran two weeks before the Islamic Revolution of 1979 for France, to assist his family, and had to to stay there 15 years,as an exile, opposing the ayatollahs' dictatorship.
After the assassination of Shapour Bakhtiar and the end of a genuine support from the European politics to oppose the Iranian regime, he left Paris, France, to settle in Los Angeles, USA, where he was warmly welcome by the large Iranian community who lives there.
He became the producer of a daily program on Radio Sedaye Iran (KRSI) called The World From Yesterday To Today (Jahan az dirooz ta emrooz)and published for several months a magazine called Jahan.
Two weeks befor his passing away he was still working at KRSI.
He died of cancer in Saint John's hospital in Santa Monica, CA, and is burried in Woodland Cemetery, Santa Monica.
He has done a great analysis of Hafez, the great Iranian poet, and has published it, so his work is a must have for any research on the famous poet.

Vito Ramos Is a Pretty Amazing Guy. Some would say mind bendingly brilliant, but he would humbly counter that with a simple ,"just brilliant, thank you." Vito was Born in Newport news Virginia. And moved from there to Charleston, South Carolina. At the age of four, Vito moved to Connecticut. Therein, his life took a series of amazing and often strange twists. Vito is Part Italian, part Puerot Rican, part Indian, and 100% Amazing.
It's not uncommon for Vito to be mistaken for Egyptian, or even Cuban. The reason for this is he has a unique look that can either be middle eastern or southern European. Allowing him to blend in with a lot of differrent crowds, and easing him of the burden that most Americans carry when traveling to foreign lands.
Vito is pretty handsome. But he's humble about it, which makes him all the more alluring an attractive. He is well mannered, almost too polite. Often you can see him sitting beneath a shady tree pondering life and all its many twists and turns. Sometimes you can find him under that same tree, dreaming up the cure for diseases or other bothersome equations.
Vito has a lot of friends. But only a few close friends. And these are treated to getting to knowhim in depth, seeing the real kind soul beneath his occasionally negligent exterior. Thirty-nine year-old Bayan Muna representative Joel G. Virador is a native of Kidapawan City, North Cotabato. His parents trace their roots to the island of Bohol. He was born on March 5, 1967 in Kidapawan City.
Human Rights Activist
At 19, Joel became the chairperson of the League of Filipino Students (LFS) in Notre Dame of Kidapawan College. He also simultaneously held the position of secretary-general of the Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (BAYAN) in Cotabato province.
In 1987, assiduously combining his academic load with his activist commitment, he graduated with a degree in accountancy.
But instead of taking the conventional path of getting into the corporate world, he worked as a volunteer in the Task Force Detainees of the Philippines (TFDP). He later became the organization’s Regional Director in Southern Mindanao from 1987 to 1995.
After serving in the TFDP for eight years, he was appointed in 1995 as the secretary-general of the human rights organization, KARAPATAN.
His record of persistence in human rights advocacy work caught the ire of the local military. He was falsely charged with rebellion by linking his name to the alias of an NPA commander in 2002. The case was dismissed soon after.
Sensitive to worker’s problems, Joel became also active in labor issues. He joined workers in the picket lines during strikes. He was among those hurt during the violent dispersal of a strike by members of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
As if adding insult to injury, he was charged by the police authorities with direct assault. He is out on bail until now.
Legislative Work
After his five-year stint in KARAPATAN, Joel joined Bayan Muna and became active in the Mindanao region. He became the party’s spokesperson in Southern Mindanao. He was nominated as the activist party’s 4th nominee for the party-list elections in May 2001.
On November 7, 2003, Joel assumed the party-list seat vacated by Rep. Crispin Beltran. The latter had resigned from Bayan Muna to lead a fraternal party-list group, Anakpawis. In Congress, the young legislator immediately left his mark in the short time that he entered its halls.
He stood up thrice on the session floor to deliver privilege speeches questioning the legality of joint RP-US Balikatan military exercises in Mindanao, the violation of human rights of the civilian populace during military operations, and the problems of landlessness and displacement of peasant tillers and rural workers by big and foreign agro-corporations in the island.
The activist solon also initiated several resolutions on these issues of vital concern to the people of Mindanao.
Bayan Muna Third Nominee
During Bayan Muna’s third National Convention last January 13, 2004, Joel was elected into the party’s “Feisty 14” list of nominees to represent it in the upcoming party-list polls. On February 24, he was named as the party’s third official nominee.
In terms of areas of concern, Joel is in charge of issues of indigenous peoples, Moros, and the environment. Recognizing as well the deep particularity of Mindanao in the country’s socio-economic and political history, he is also the party’s voice for the island’s pressing issues. He likewise handles the party’s issues on agriculture, women and privatization of water services in close coordination with fellow progressive party-list groups Anakpawis and Gabriela Women’s Party.
Three months into the 13th Congress, Joel is vice-chairperson of the Mindanao Affairs Committee and a member of several others. These include the committees on Muslim Affairs, Ecology, Natural Resources, Human Rights, Foreign Affairs, Poverty Alleviation, Rural Development, Energy, Agrarian Reform, Agriculture and Food, and Women. At this writing, he is formalizing his membership in the committees on National Cultural Communities, National Defense and Security, Fisheries, Government Enterprises and Privatization, Transportation, Communications, Local Government, and Public Works and Highways.
He has likewise authored numerous resolutions concerning the warrantless arrests of Moros, the reported shooting of a Filipino civilian in the course of the recent joint RP-US military exercises in Zamboanga City, killing of several Bayan Muna members in Compostela Valley and Davao del Norte, land problem of small farmers in Tanglaw, Davao del Norte, privatization of water services, toxic wastes in Tiwi, Albay, the plight of tuna handliners especially in General Santos City, the US-Israeli aggression on Lebanon, among others.
Illegal Raid on his House
Last July 14, 2004, Joel’s house in Matina, Davao City was illegally raided and ransacked by alleged elements of the Military Intelligence Group. He delivered a privilege speech on August 11, 2004 strongly condemning the harsh attacks not only on his family but as a militant lawmaker in the 13th Congress. His speech elicited the unanimous support of the entire House of Representatives. Towards the end of his speech he vowed to steadfastly pursue Bayan Muna's advocacies for the marginalized and oppressed sectors of society in streets and in Congress.
Joel is married to Imelda Lumayag, a former student activist and current Bayan Muna member in Southern Mindanao. They have two children, Joanna Paula (“JP”), 16, and Harvey Rafael (“HR”), 14.#

Bullet Points is a 5-6 issue mini-series written by J. Michael Straczynski and illustrated by Tommy Lee Edwards, due for release by Marvel Comics in 2006. The concept of the mini-series is essentially the effects and consequences held by one bullet taking one life.
Plot
Bullet Points opens with the creation of the Super Soldier Serum for Captain America. In the comics, Steve Rogers was injected with this serum, the scientist then subsequently killed, taking the knowledge of the serum with him, leaving Steve as Captain America. However, in the Bullet Points universe, the scientist is shot 24 hours earlier, along with a young MP, Ben Harper a.k.a. Uncle Ben of Spider-Man fame. Because of this crime, Steve Rogers is no longer Captain America, and by happenstance, he is the Iron-Man. By Uncle Ben not being around to raise Peter Parker, Pete is left with a far different child hood, winding up absorbing gamma rays to become the Incredible Hulk, leaving the world without a Spider-Man. In a butterfly effect, Reed Richards a.k.a. Mr. Fantastic of the Fantastic Four, is never destined to go to space for that fateful trip in becoming the leader of the Fantastic Four. Instead, he is deemed as the leader of S.H.I.E.L.D. These are three known stories, with 2-3 more supposedly being written.

The monastery of Iveron is located on the northeast side of the peninsula. The monastery was founded in the last quarter of the tenth century by John Tornikipos, a courtier of David the ruler of Iberia (Georgia). The 16th century had been a period of prosperity for the monastery, and, as result, it had been decorated with splendid painting works.
It occupies the third rank in the hierarchical order of the twenty Athonite monasteries. It is inhabited by 61 monks (1990) and until a few years is coenobitic (communal).
Its katholikon was first built in the first half of the eleventh century and was restored in 1513. It is dedicated to the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It follows the typical plant of the Athonite church. The church's interior was decorated at times from the 16th century to the 19th with magnificent frescoes. Its wood-carved iconostasis dates back to the 18th century.
Except the Katholikon there are sixteen chapels within the monastery. Two of the them, this of Saint Nicholas and that of the Archangels lie in the eso-narthex. Into the courtyard are two chapels. Near the gate of the monastery is the chapel which houses the thaumaturgical icon of Virgin Portaitissa. To the east is the chapel of Saint John the Baptist.
In front the entrance of the Katholikon lies the Phiale for the blessing of the waters reconstructed in 1865 and opposite of the church stands the refectory.
The monastery’s skevofylakion (treasury) contains gold-embroidered sacerdotal vestments, ecclesiastic plates, and Russian art works.
The library is one of the richest in Mount Athos, containing more than 2,000 codices and 15 liturgical scrolls, 100 manuscripts and 15,000 printed books. The library also contains several important imperial and patriarchal documents.

Aggressor Six
Aggressor Six is one of the earliest works of science fiction writer Wil McCarthy. In this book humanity is under assult by an overwhelming technologically superior alien race called "Waisters" who are threatening to exterminate the human race. Unlike his later books which focus on humanities technological evolution and how it affects the defination of humanity, Aggressor Six is a piece of military science fiction. However this novel is set apart from other military science fiction novels it that it maintains Wil McCarthy's adhearance to technical scientific realism, particularly during the combat scenes. One major point of the story is that the aliens are technologically far more advanced than the humans, meaning the standard navel models of combat used in many science fiction works would be impractical and requiring a reemamination of how space combat will occur. It also examines the idea that aliens, if encountered, will be truely 'alien'- driven by desires and motives which will not be immediately obvious to humans. Wil McCarthy wrote a sequel, The Fall of Sirius in 1996, and created an outline for a third novel which was never written, but which can be found on his website.

Les Harding is a Canadian writer born in St. John's, Newfoundland. His family moved to Hamilton, Ontario when he was a small child. After periods of living in Ottawa, Cornwall, London and Waterloo (all in Ontario) and short residences in Montreal and New Brunswick, Harding returned to St. John's in 1990.
Education and Employment: Harding attended McMaster University in Hamilton from 1971 until 1975, graduating with a B.A. (magna cum laude) in Religion and Philosophy. From 1976 until 1977 Harding was at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario and graduated with an M.L.S. Harding has worked as a librarian for the Government of Canada in Ottawa and Cornwall, Ontario and at the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario. He continues to do occasional work in libraries, most recently for the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador and Memorial University in St. John's, Newfoundland.
Writing: To date Harding has written eleven books in the genres of history, travel, biography, children's non-fiction, humour and religion. He has also written numerous magazine articles, newspaper articles and book reviews.

BK RAP
Roberto Bruno, mejor conocido como B.K. Rap nació un 17 de agosto en el pueblo de Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico y como toda persona que no conoce a Dios, llevaba una vida vacía y sin sentido. Como los caminos por los que obra el Señor son misteriosos, Roberto tuvo que moverse a la ciudad de Orlando, Florida...pero allí Dios le tenía una sorpresa...se estaba orquestrando un encuentro con el cielo... Este encuentro ocurre en el año 1991, en la iglesia El Calvario en Orlando. Roberto recuerda que se sentía muy incómodo, según lo expresa el, "como si tuviese unos zapatos de talla 3 en mis pies". Había una batalla en el corazón de Roberto y la misma estaba dirigida por el orgullo y el miedo, pues no quería ser el primero en admitir que necesitaba a Jesús y que su única y real vía de escape era salir corriendo al altar. Pero el poder que había en aquel memorable mensaje y la necesidad que había en su corazón de vivir una vida diferente, vencieron a la incomodidad y a la lucha que Roberto tenía...y decidió ir al altar y ser el primero en hacerlo. Hubo un cerrar de ojos... un llanto de arrepentimiento... una nueva decisión de cambiar la vida y el destino...el cielo había ganado a un rapero...¡¡B.K. Rap había sido salvado!!
El encuentro de B.K. con Jesús fue un evento que marcó su vida...selló su corazón. B.K. llevaba orando tres años para que hubiese una definición clara en cuanto a cuál era su llamado. Un día, en una célula (reunión), se encontraba B.K. con su esposa y unos hermanos orando al Señor para que hubiese dirección y para que El llevara el control de todo lo que estaban llevando a cabo allí. Cuenta B.K. que de repente sintió como un viento...un viento tan fuerte que quitó una sábana sucia que el sentía en su vida a la vez que era arropado y cubierto por una sábana limpia...una sábana nueva. B.K sintió la voz del Espíritu Santo muy real en aquel momento. El Señor estaba llamando a B.K. Rap tal como este le había pedido y recuerda B.K que el Espíritu le dijo tres cosas: "te voy a dar más amor por tu familia"; "te voy a usar con poder" y "...pero antes de salir afuera quiero que ministres dentro de tu casa...con tu testimonio...". Aquella experiencia...marcó su vida.
Actualmente B.K. Rap reside en Orlando junto a su esposa e hijo. Preside Rescue Ministries Productions y es vice-presidente de Eternal Life Ministries, dos ministerios cuya visión es rescatar almas en lugares como barrios, caseríos y puntos de narcotráfico. B.K. también va a las iglesias para predicar acerca de las buenas nuevas del evangelio y para exhortar a la juventud a no rendirse y a sentirse bienaventurados por la bendición que tienen de haber conocido a Jesucristo.
B.K. Rap cuenta con varias producciones discográficas, entre las que se destacan: "Mission Above the Ground" (Blan-Har Ministries); "Contra las Tinieblas -Live” (Blan-Har Ministries); "Flash Back" (Rescue Ministries/ELM); "Pensando" (Rescue Ministries/ELM); y "Rompe" (Rescue Ministries/ELM), que es su más reciente trabajo. B.K. Rap - “Rompe”:llevo casi 15 años en el evangelio y recuerdo que cuando comencé en esto de la música cristiana (hace 15 años también en “full time christian music”) no había muchas opciones y lo que había tenía que aprovecharse…je, je, je. Recuerdo cuando escuché por primera vez esto del rap “above the ground” y fue precisamente el hermano B.K. el que me introdujo a esta agradable sorpresa. Recibí la noticia con mucho agrado pues el estilo “underground” (la contraparte secular) ya tenía arranque y un auge tremendo entre la juventud. Por eso resultó refrescante escuchar a este valiente hermano comenzar con algo que no se había escuchado antes…dentro del ambiente musical cristiano. Me acuerdo que el proyecto tuvo mucha acogida (y bueno, algunas críticas también…¡¡¡pero eso le pasa a los revolucionarios, B.K.!!!…je, je, je) y la radio recibió la bomba rapera de B.K. Rap. Recuerdo que sobre ese primer proyectoescribí….y escribí….y escribí….bueno, hay mucha historia bonita aquí. Hoy B.K. tiene tres proyectos musicales y un respetable ministerio musical con mucho énfasis evangelístico. El talento se usó con una perspectiva correcta y el Señor ha respaldado esto. Ya el “brother” ha visitado muchos países para llevar el mensaje de las buenas nuevas con un estilo diferente…pero con el respaldo del cielo (¡¡Amén!!). Y todo esto que he estado mencionando fue muy evidente en Expolit 2001. El B.K. compartió la tarima con otros ministerios integrantes de AMMI (Asociacion de Ministerios Musicales Independientes) y demostró una vez más que el cielo respalda su ministerio. Su presentación fue muy elocuente, ungida, festiva, gozosa y con propósito. B.K. cantó con el respaldo de una palabra profética dada a su vida por el hermano David Greco y luego, con su hijo, ministró la importancia de la unidad familiar y cómo la familia puede ser parte integrante del ministerio. Sigue adelante, “brother”, que no dejamos de creer en tu ministerio musical.
El estilo del nuevo proyecto de B.K. es su marca registrada…rap “above the ground”… una mezcla de rap con reggae y hip-hop. B.K. Rap es muy hábil en esto de hacer mezclas. En su música se reconocen muchos cortes musicales de conocidos temas y, para añadirte algo de suspenso… te lo dejo para que los descubras cuando escuches el proyecto. El mensaje de las canciones es muy directo… precisamente, como tiene que ser. Esto es una evidencia más del deseo de nuestro hermano de usar el vehículo musical como base para un mensaje de importancia y trascendencia. En sus canciones B.K. Rap nos habla de: la importancia del momento presente…momento culminante en donde la intervención de Dios es necesaria e imprescindible (“Rompe” y “J-Time”); la importancia de la amistad y de tener una relación como tal con Dios (“Los amigos”); la invasión del reino de las tinieblas con el poder de Dios (“Misión”); Dios como fuente de sustento y gozo en la vida del hombre (“Te vas a gozar” y “Me haces vivir”). Este es un tremendo proyecto musical y refleja una vez más la tendencia de este estilo a crecer y a acomodarse como una alternativa positiva, saludable y poderosa para alcanzar a la juventud con el mensaje del evangelio. Me gusta este disquito…¿influirá el hecho de que el rap sea uno de mis estilos musicales favoritos? Bueno, si esto influye o si concluyes esto…je, je, je…déjame decirte…la virtud no va con lo subjetivo…y para ser claro…en esta placa (CD) hay mucha virtud….je, je, je.

Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School is a co-ed college prepatory high school located in Fort Greene, Brooklyn New York. It Founded in 1851 as St. James an all boys school in downtown Brooklyn by the De Lasalle Christian Brothers. Due to her vast experience with men, she likes to play with their feelings.

Lujan comes to appreciate Blas' efforts, and even justifies Blas' harsh methods and constant abuse. However, their time together is cut short when Blas dies after enduring a severe car crash. She is now hostile towards Marizza since she has both parents (Sonia and Martin) in her life while Luján does not have a parental figure. Luján barely talks with anyone and prefers to be alone. In the end she is adopted by Sonia Rey and Franco Colucci and becomes the sister of Mia and Marizza.

It's ironic because of her weight, and she's very short and has chubby cheeks. Went out with Pablo at one time.

LA Music Academy was founded in 1996 by a number of prominent LA-Music Players who were experienced in the teaching of Music Theory. Their goal was to create a school in which students can learn all about music in the shortest possible time.

The Campus
Pasadena was chosen as an ideal location because of its safe streets and neighborhoods, still relatively close to the LA music scene with its nightclubs, concert venues, recording studios and entertainment companies. The LA Music Academy building was originally built in the 1940’s for a school of NASA scientists learning-as-they-went to build satellites. The press release announcing the first man on the moon came out of an office in this building. An average of 150 students attend the LA Music Academy each year. With 38 faculty members on-staff, the student/teacher ratio is better than 3 to 1. The building’s facilities include large, modern classrooms equipped with Mackie Sound Systems, Remo drumsets with Zildjian cymbals, and Tech 21 guitar and Gallien-Krueger bass amps. Ten fully-equipped practice labs are for drummers. Five practice labs and several practice stations are for guitar and bass players, as well as vocalists. All students have access to the library and keyboard lab. The performance hall has room for 25 players onstage and holds an audience of 160. Outside, the building has a sunny, tree-lined courtyard with tables, chairs, and enough outdoor space to hold impromptu jam sessions. The school is open 24 hours a day except during breaks and holidays. Starbuck’s coffee shop is just a half a block away and Saladang Restaurant, a favorite with students, is right across the street. Old Town Music is the closest of 3 excellent music stores, within walking distance of the LA Music Academy campus. Just around the corner is the hip, vibrant neighborhood of Old Pasadena. It’s a fun place, teeming with shops and restaurants, that people in the LA area go out of their way to visit. Students love the close proximity of the LA Music Academy campus to bustling streets and abundant nightlife, with none of the safety hazards of some other Los Angeles locations.

In the early spring of 1920, unorganized coal miners in Mingo County, West Virginia began seeking to join the UMWA. The coal operators became alarmed by the organizing activity and locked out the miners. On May 19, 1920, twelve men were killed at Matewan, West Virginia in a gun fight in which the local police and the people of Matewan faced a group of hoodlums hired by the infamous Baldwin Felts Detective Agency at the behest of the coal operators to unlawfully evict miners from their homes.
In the Matewan battle, Albert Felts, wearing a badge as a "deputy sheriff" of Harlan County, Kentucky, fired the first shot but was killed by Matewan Chief of Police Sid Hatfield. Hatfield had warned the thugs that they had no legal warrants to evict the citizens of Matewan and that he would not permit eviction without proper legal procedures. Felts then attempted to forcibly arrest the Chief of Police. Felts had been one of the chief gunmen used by the coal operators in the Ludlow, Colorado massacre in 1914, in which twenty persons were killed, including twelve women and children who were burned alive in their tents.
Sid Hatfield, a hero to West Virginia miners, was himself killed in August of 1921 in Welch, West Virginia by C. E. Lively, a Baldwin Felts gunman. Hatfield's murder was in all likelihood a set-up. He was arrested on July 28 on an allegation that he had shot up the town of Mohawk more than a year before. He was taken from his home town of Matewan to McDowell County, West Virginia, a stronghold of anti-UMWA coal operators. As he entered the court house with Ed Chambers, who had been called as a witness, both were shot down in front of their wives by Lively and two other gunmen. No charges were brought against Lively or the other murderers.
