Joshua Clover

Joshua Clover is a California-based poet, critic, journalist and author. He is a two-time winner of the Pushcart Prize. Clover was a resident of the legendary Barrington Hall student cooperative in Berkeley, California though he never attended school at the University of California at Berkeley. He did later teach there as a Visiting Professor. Clover is an Associate Professor of English Literature and Critical Theory at the University of California at Davis and a frequent contributor to the Village Voice. He wrote the Criterion Collection essays for a bande aparte and Straw Dogs. His mother is UC Berkeley professor Carol J. Clover, orginator of the final girl theory.
