Roberto Baggio (born February 18, 1967) is an Italian footballplayer, considered to be among the best players in the world throughout the 1990s.

He played for major Italian teams, such as Fiorentina and Juventus. Baggio's major World Cup was in 1994 in the United States. After a successful tournament, he missed a penalty in the shoot-out in the final match against Brazil and Brazil went on became the World Cup holder for the fourth time.
