Location of Hillhurst in Calgary

Hillhurst is a northwest neighborhood lying the inner city of Calgary (in Alberta, Canada). Boundaries of the community include 8 Avenue, 14 Street and 16 Avenue to the north, 10 Street to the east, Bow River to the south and 18 Street to the west. Although often referred to as if it were it's own community, the trendy and cultured Business Revitalization Zone (BRZ) known as Kensington actually resides primarily within the Hillhurst community.

Established in 1914, Hillhurst is one of Calgary's oldest neighborhoods.

As of 2006, Hillhurst had a population of 5,288.[1]
