The journal Collectanea Mathematica is a peer-reviewed mathematics journal [1] [2] [3] published by the Institute of Mathematics of the University of Barcelona, founded in 1948 by Josep Maria Orts[4]. It is the oldest magazine of its kind in Spain[5].

Collectanea Mathematica is a quarterly journal of broad spectrum, and it publishes original research articles of pure and applied mathematics. Since 2011, it is published by Springer.

Collectanea Mathematica is indexed in Current Contents (Physical Chemical and Earth Sciences) and ISI Web of Science[6], MathSciNet[7], and Zentralblatt MATH[8].

The editor-in-chief is Rosa Maria Miró-Roig.[9]
