Lomi Lomi

Lomi Lomi is a sacred Hawaiian spiritual tradition which may include prayer, chanting, breath work, and/or massage. What has been popularized over the last decade or so is Lomi Lomi style massage which may or may not include one of the other aforementioned elements. Unfortunately there is often little distinction drawn between what is only part of Lomi Lomi, an oiled massage, and the rich cultural experience from which the Lomi Lomi style massage is drawn.
