Jon Dee Graham, Austin musician, guitarist and songwriter. Former member of the legendary True Believers with Alejandro Escovedo. Considered an Austin gem and living legend. Won Austin Musician of the Year SXSW 2006. Won Hall of Fame SXSW 2000. Released FULL, which many critics hail as his best, in 2006 on Freedom Records, which also released his first record, Escape from Monster Island. His other records, The Great Battle, Summerland, and Hooray for the Moon were released on New West Records, from which he departed in 2005 on the first business day of that year. Jon Dee Graham has played with the likes of Eliza Gilkyson, Kelly Willis, John Hiatt, Michelle Shocked, Paty Griffin, Calvin Russell, Lone Justice. His music has been featured in soundtracks such as Ladder 49 and Veronica Mars. [1]
