The T-80 is a Soviet main battle tank which is a further development of the T-64 and T-72.
Production History
The T-80 was first produced in 1984 and was the first Soviet tank to be equipped with a gas turbine engine and a laser rangefinder. It is very similar to the T-72 in appearance.

- T-80 - First production model.
- T-80B - New ceramic armour.
- T-80BV - Added explosive reactive armour.
- T-80U - New turret. Added ATGM AT-11 Sniper. More powerfull engine.
- T-80UD - Ukraniana version with 1000 hp diesel engine. (delivered to Pakistan)
