Guangxi is an Autonomous Region of China.

Located in the southern part of the country, it is bordered by Yunnan to the west, Guizhou to the north, Hunan to the northeast, and Guangdong to the southeast, and by Vietnam and the Beibu Bay to the southwest.

Area: 236,661 sq km
Population: 44.89 million (2001)

Major cities include: Beihai, Guilin, Liuzhou.
