Libertarian capitalism is a term used to distinguish libertarians who also believe in a capitalist-driven society from others, such as libertarian socialists. The term has its origins in political philosophy. The modern American usage of "libertarianism" usually refers to libertarian capitalist political movements, and the term "libertarian capitalism" is not in everyday use.

For the political philosophy that advocates the replacement of most or all aspects of government with market relations, see anarcho-capitalism.

For libertarian political parties in the United States, Costa Rica, and elsewhere, see Libertarian Party.

For discussions of the free market or capitalism itself, see those pages.

For anti-capitalist views with similar names, see anarcho-communism.
