LibraryThing author at LibraryThing

The {{LibraryThing author}} template is a convenience template used to create an external link to an author at LibraryThing. Its use makes linking to LibraryThing cleaner and more uniform.
Usage
If no second parameter (or no |name=
parameter) is specified then {{PAGENAME}}, the name of the article, is used for the title of the link (see first example). If the name of the article is unsuitable (e.g., "Michael Grant (author, born 1954)") then a second parameter (or |name=
parameter) can be specified.
Examples
- {{LibraryThing author|grantmichael-4}}

Comment: This is modified (slightly) from {{Goodreads author}}. No Wikidata support because I couldn't find a Wikidata property for this ID. You can't see that this works below because the template doesn't exist in its later home, but I've set it up to test in my sandbox. Do let me know if it would have been better to change all the invocations below to refer to the draft page - I considered that but wasn't sure. Mortee (talk) 00:27, 12 March 2017 (UTC)
