Touring

Lara has been on the road since August 1995. Live performances are a strong angle to the development of his career. He has created a very solid fan base, the majority is directly due to his live shows. Lara has played from small coffeehouse acoustic performances to sold-out arenas.

Some of the artists he has toured with are: Ben Harper (Virgin), Los Lobos (Warner Brothers), Big Head Todd and the Monsters (Revolution), Johnny Clegg and Juluka (Putumayo), H.O.R.D.E. Festival (with 311, Lenny Kravitz, Blues Traveler, Wilco, King Crimson), Me'shell Ndegeocello (Maverick), Natalie Merchant (Elektra), Edwin McCain (Atlantic), Rusted Root (Mercury), Bare Naked Ladies (Warner Brothers)

1999 summer tour

  • 15 city Southeastern USA (toured as a trio)

Licensing

The following compositions have been licensed to network TV: "Fighting For My Love" (Party of Five), "Money Makes The Monkey Dance " (Party of Five), "I Will Be Free" (Melrose Place), "Bleeding" (Party of Five).

Andy Garcia's "Just The Ticket" vocal performance of (Janie Bradford/Berry Gordy) "Money (That's What I want)" also covered by The Beatles.

Additionally, a live performance of "I Will Be Free" was licensed along with compositions by Collective Soul, Bush, Mary J. Blige, Donna Summers, and Ice Cube to the video outlet "The Box" for inclusion in its commercially released video concert "The Box Unwrapped".

The composition "My First Child" was included in Atlantic Records soundtrack for the TV sitcom Mad About You. Other artists showcased in this soundtrack include John Lennon, Hootie and the Blowfish, Sarah McLachlan, Lyle Lovett, Elvis Costello, and Anita Baker.
