Odd Man Out (1947) is classic post WW 2 british film noir starring James Mason as an Irish republican operative running for his life after a botched bank robbery. The film chronicles this event over a single day. What transpires then is an odyssey that highlights the true star of the film, the dark city of 1940's Belfast.
