Better Dayz is the sixth posthumous album released by Tupac Shakur's mother, Afeni Shakur. It was released in November 2002, debuting at number 5 on the Billboard 200; since then, it has sold 3 million copies. This release is the second of two albums recorded in Tupac's "Makaveli" period (late 1995 to death) and was produced by Death Row producer Johnny "J", Jazze Pha, Frank Nitty, and Edi of Tha Outlawz. Tracks include "My Block (remix)," "When We Ride On Our Enemies," "Catchin Feelins" and "Never Call U B**** Again". It features 26 unreleased recordings from the period of 1995-1996, with appearances by Nas, Tha Outlawz, Mýa, Jazze Pha, Ron Isley, and Tyrese, among others. The hit single, "Thugz Mansion," comes in two versions: the Nas acoustic version, on which the music video is based, and a hip hop version featuring Anthony Hamilton. The album sold 366,000 copies in its first week. It eventually went on to triple platinum status with almost no promotion.
