Chai Soua Vang, 36, of St. Paul, Wisconsin, a Hmong immigrant from Laos. He is being held at Sawyer County Jail He went out for deer hunting with at least two friends in northwest Wisconsin. On Sunday(Nov.21 2004) he killed at leat 6 US native deer hunters after a verbal exchange :

His weapon: The 20-round clip of his rifle, an inexpensive Chinese-made SKS assault weapon

Insane slaughter

  • Vang said he shot one victim in the back

  • 8 rednecks vs. one asian alone. And 8 reneckes claimed they only had one gun.
  • Rednecks yelledout racist slurs to Vang
  • Vang says he began firing only after one of Hesebeck's hunting buddies, Terry Willers, shot at him with a rifle from about 100 feet away and missed.
