The April 3rd Cheju Massacre was a mass killing that took place on Cheju Island, at the southern tip of Korea. On April 3rd, 1948, more than 20,000 Jeju Islanders were murdered by the South Korean and American forces. Most civilians were brutally tortured and executed.
