What is Wikipedia?

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia that anyone can add to, written by people just like you. You're welcome to add to any article, or start a brand new one.

How can this work?

There are more people improving Wikipedia than trying to break it, so it becomes bigger and better every day. Whenever someone changes an article, Wikipedia remembers what they changed - so if nonsense is added to an article, anyone can easily fix it.
