Richard Charles Lascelles Carr lives in Camden, London and was born on 22 July 1938. He is a director and board member of Arsenal Football Club.

He married Edda in 1960. He is the grandson of former Arsenal Chairman Bracewell Smith through his mother Eileen Bracewell Smith. He has no children.

He has formerly held directorships of Lee Yang Enterprise Limited, the Park Lane Hotel Ltd and Tymals Investments Ltd.

Tymals Investments Ltd was dissolved in 1999, the other director was fellow Arsenal board member Lady Nina Bracewell-Smith.

He holds 2,722 shares (4.6%) in the Football Club.
