Torrie Wilson

To be honest, I am not sure if her real first name is Torrie or Victoria. I know that Torrie is short for Victoria, but that is like saying everyone's who first name is Bill is really William. I've seen sources for both name, but it should stay Victoria unless that anon user can provide a source. TJ Spyke 02:37, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your Current Status

Hey, I was just wondering if I could use the current status notification that you have on your User page. I didnt know if you made it or if someone else did. So, just get back at me on my talk page. Thanks.

--Mikedk9109 03:12, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

So would you mind if I used it?

--Mikedk9109 03:23, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Man, I'm having a hard time trying to figure this out. Its confusing. Any help?

--Mikedk9109 04:16, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, thats all right. I guess I will just have to go without it.

Your user page

It would be rude as hell for me to edit your user page (and it's probably rude for me to point out spelling errors here) but "Safeway Curtsey Clerk" should be "Safeway Courtesy Clerk". Stilgar135 23:21, 13 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Retirement

Hey, just stopped by to say I am retiring today. Just see my user page for reasoning. Thanks.

Hi, and welcome to the Countries WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of counties.

There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:

  • Starting some new articles? See some model pages such as Cambodia!
  • Want to know how good our articles are? The assessment department is working on rating the quality of every country article in Wikipedia.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask another fellow member, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! Shy1520 11:12, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I just can't get through to user JB196. He continues to revert the article, reducing its quality claiming that he is not credited as "The Author" in the article itself. The issue is being brought up here [1] help would be greatly appreciated. -- bulletproof 3:16 03:24, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

China, Taiwan

The exonym should be listed as 'Taiwan'. Even though I agree that it's used by uninformed English speakers, but that is what the exonym column should represent (what the common name is in English). Still, I've never heard any English speaker call it simply 'China', so I really think it should just be 'Taiwan (ROC)'. But, if you must, I think a suitable solution would be to simply list 'Taiwan" first, as it's more common:

Country (Exonym)
Taiwan (China) [[Republic of China
(ROC)]]

Note how I linked each name separately; I think having each article linked helps explain the situation better.

Maryse

I don't understand. Why would we assume that someone who made an appearance on tv was not on the roster? When has that happened in the past other when they were used as enhancement talent? Frankly, I'm just angry at JustMaria thinking she's the Queen of women in wrestling and the blatant favoritism seen in editing here when some of us are really just trying to make sure the roster page is as accurate and up-to-date as possible!
