Vampr is a location-based social and professional mobile platform which facilitates music discovery and communication between musicians, music industry professionals and music fans.[1]

The Los Angeles based startup was founded in 2015 by Australian musicians Josh Simons and Barry Palmer.[2] According to The Australian Financial Review, the company received seed funding from Nick Feldman of 1980s British band Wang Chung.[3] Apple named the app in its "Best of 2017" list.[4]

As of January 2018, the app has facilitated over 1 million professional connections worldwide.[5]
