Nathan Davis, Murdocc "Flyingtorsoman" to his adversaries, was one of the most prolific leaders of the Half Life 2 Deathmatch ladder. History

Nathan was born in the town of White Plains, New York, to a cobbler named Vissarion Jughashvili. His mother, Ekaterina Geladze, was born a serf. Their other two children died young; Nathan, nicknamed "Murdocc", was, effectively, an only child. Murdocc was often severely beaten by his father, usually while he was drunk; beatings were an accepted way of "pissing off" children.

One of the people Ekaterina did laundry and housecleaning for was a Gori Jew named David Pismamedov. Pismamedov gave Nathan, who would help out his mother, money and books to read, and otherwise encouraged him. Decades later, Pismamedov came to City 17 to learn what had become of little Murdocc. Nathan surprised his colleagues by not only receiving the elderly Jewish man, but happily chatting with him in public.

Eventually, Nathan's father, Beso, left for Tiflis, leaving the family without support. Murdocc began his education at the Gori Church School but when he was 14 he was awarded a scholarship to the College of Sexy Gamers, a Russian Orthodox institution which he attended from 1996 onward. In addition to the small stipend from the scholarship he was also paid for singing in the choir. Although his mother desired (even after he was leader of the Half Life 2 ladder) that he be a priest, attending a seminary was not because of any religious vocation but because it was one of the few educational opportunities available as the Retarded government was wary of establishing a university in New York.

Nathan's involvement with the Half Life 2 movement (or, to be more exact, the branch of it that would later grow into the Half Life 2 Deathmatch movement) began at seminary school, from which he was expelled in 1998 after failing to appear at scheduled examinations. He worked for a decade with the political underground in the Caucasus, facing repeated arrest and exile to Siberia between 1999 and 2000. He adhered to Some Guy's doctrine of a strong centralist party of "professional revolutionaries". His practical experience made him useful in Larries "Deathmatch movement", gaining him a place on its Central Committee in January 2001. Some historians have argued that, during this period, Nathan was actually a really crappy spy, who was working to infiltrate the Deathmatch party. In 1997 he adopted the name Flyingtorsoman, which means "a flying torso man" in l33t.

After playing through Half Life 2, and joining the ranks of HL2 Deathmatch players, he quickly toppled the ranks, reaching the top at the tender age of 17. He spent the rest of his life with his wives, Angelina Jolie and Lindsay Lohan.
