Amantes Sunt Amentes (Lovers are Lunatics), is the fourth album by the mexican rock band, Panda. It was released on October 2 2006.
The first single is called 'Narcista Por Excelencia' and the video has already been premiered on Mtv.

"This was an unexpected album", so it is claimed by the band in the bonus disc, " it was born in Pepe with a tie and two not tuned guitars" (The bonus disc comes along inside the album box), It all began between february and january 2006, but it was finally finished on the 23 of May 2006.
It is believed that this will be their last album, but it was also believed that in their past album. In this album, Panda continues with their PunkRock/alternative rock- punk/Emo genere, wich fits perfectly with their last album "Para Ti Con Desprecio", however, in their last album, they wrote the lyrics focused on hate, and now, they have changed it to cynicism and how love is inperfect, however these lyrics are based on love jokes, the flaws of love.
Although, in "Para Ti Con Desprecio", it is believed that the band plagiarized songs from other bands, this is not proven yet, and not legal actions have been taken, it has nothing to do with this new album, it is a completely new style, that keeps the good old things, and adds a "touch" of new ideas.
This album has more guitar solos, and Pepe´s voice is lightly changed in some songs, in some parts.
"Amantes Sunt Amentes" is not world-wide known yet, but it has huge hit in Mexico.
Panda is nominated for the MTV AWARDS 2006 for 4 awards.
