Matilda Ziegler

I would like to commend you for your contributions to Matilda Ziegler's Wikipedia article. It's rare to ever see her on TV in Australia and I'm a huge fan of hers. I've only ever seen her in Mr. Bean and very briefly in Sex Traffic (she only had one line in the whole 2-part series). And I caught a very rare clip of the scene where Dot finds her dead in EastEnders (I've never watched the show before).

I'd love to see the episodes of EastEnders which she has starred in as well as her role on the short-lived British sitcom, Swiss Toni. But sadly they don't play any of that stuff here. :-( Sillygostly 05:40, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your reply. Sadly, I've looked all over YouTube, and I've watched as many clips as possible from Matilda Ziegler's reign of the series (1987-1989), but unfortunately I haven't been able to spot her at all. Swiss Toni appears to play at 1am weekly on a cable network in Australia but I don't have cable. Darn. :-p Sillygostly 07:09, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Botched page creation

Hi you accidentally created Archive 2 in the main article space. I moved it to User talk:Gungadin/Archive 2 for you. Kevin_b_er 21:36, 2 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Erm. Actually now there's 2 of them. /Archive2 and /Archive 2. You may want to axe one of them. {{Db-owner}} template is the right one I belive to alert the admins to whammy the page. Kevin_b_er 02:13, 3 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hassan Osman actor

How did you do this one then, clever clogs? Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 21:33, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Hey

That'd be great thanks! Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 19:27, 15 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You recently added an image to Abi Titmuss that was a copyright violation. The image could only be used for critical commentary about the t.v. show, not to illustrate Ms. Titmuss. --Yamla 14:17, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You said: "Hi, I've been told by several administrators that it is ok to to include Screenshots from television so long as the show is discussed within the the article. The screenshot is from Celebrity Love Island, which is discussed in the article."

Yes, provided the screenshot is used to illustrate the show in question. Here, it was not attached to that paragraph; instead, the image was being used to depict the person, not the show. It's a subtle distinction but I can provide more information if you wish. --Yamla 14:22, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You said: "Ok so if I attach the image to the paragraph is it then ok to keep?"

Well, to be totally pedantic, the image would be okay to keep if the image was attached to the paragraph and the image was used to provide critical commentary on the show itself. It is not clear to me that this particular image helps you provide any critical commentary on the show. --Yamla 14:28, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You said: "ok I have several images from CLI including Abi, any tips on one that you think would provide critical commentry?"

As the article talks about her weight gain during the show, I'd suggest a "before" and "after" picture from the show.  :) --Yamla 14:37, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You said: "Right, I will upload an after one of her looking chunky. Is the removed one ok to use as a before shot? or would you prefer another one ?"

That looks fine as a before picture. Make a note on the image page itself that you are using this as a "before" picture and that it is fair-use to illustrate her weight gain over the course of the show, specifically discussed in the article itself. Thanks! --Yamla 14:41, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You said: "Hi Yalma, Ive done what we discussed. Does this look okay now? I havent removed the orphan notes on the first image page. Are they ok to remove now?"

Yeap, looks good! I moved the images down to the paragraph discussing the show. Probably the images could be made to line up better with the paragraph still. But in any case, the images are, I believe, used under fair-use now. Thank you for taking the time to get this right and to please my pedantic objections. This is much appreciated. --Yamla 15:09, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Maureen Beale

I'm confident that it's just a mistake by Kate Lock. There is another mistake, bt I cna't remember what it is... Maureen could just be the wrong name provided for Dora, or it could be another kid who died, because Dora didn't die, but we should really discuss this on WT:WPEE. Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 21:12, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I heard about Flo too, apparently she "clashed" with Pauline. I think the "Auntie Mabel" comment by Pauline last year shouldn't be taken literally, as she DID call her second cousin (Nellie) "Aunt", and we've already established Pauline's sisters... Doris (the person who posted info about her on WT:WPEE seemed genuine), Flo (from the funeral), Queenie, Liz and Elsie (from the books). Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 21:29, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
She wasn't called Aunt Flo was she??? Eww if she was! -- AnemoneProjectors (talk) 22:13, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
LOL, I've never heard that called Aunt Flo before. I might use that phrase from now on. Gungadin 15:19, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I have heard of it being called that! Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 19:44, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Louise Nerding redknapp.jpg)

Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Louise Nerding redknapp.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Abu Badali 11:33, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

EastEnders actor

Hi, I noticed that there are two articles for the actor who played Adi Ferreira in EE. Ameet Chana and Ameet Channa. The second one just appears to be BS, saying that he has been knighted! It seems to be talking about the same actor as they both mention that he played the same role in Bend it like Beckham. Do you think I should just blank the page and redirect it to the first one, or should it be nominated for deletion? I see that it has already been nominated on it's talk page, but they decided to keep it! Gungadin 11:11, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest finding out the correct spelling of his name and merging the two articles together, redirecting the one with the wrong spelling. If he hasn't been knighted then remove that, or ask for a citation if you're not sure. -- AnemoneProjectors (talk) 14:29, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks AP. Do I need to get some kind of consensus vote before I merge, or should I just do it? He definitely hasn't been knighted.... If he has then what is the world coming to, lol. Gungadin 00:41, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Just do the merge. The policy is that duplicate articles are merged if necessary and redirected. -- AnemoneProjectors (talk) 23:20, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I already did it earlier today! Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 23:26, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Let me know when you've finished so I can do a cleanup ;) -- AnemoneProjectors (talk) 21:10, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks AP, I have finshed for now. I was going to draw your attention to that article as I'm not sure if it's perhaps too long now. I dont know whether the new section I added should be reduced or whether some of the storylines should be condensed. I was reading it and there is a lot of detail about the Shannis stuff, maybe too much detail. Anyway let me know what you think would be best, or whether it should just be left alone for now Gungadin 21:18, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Nah it's fine, I reckon! By the way, I just read the Sue Osman article for the first time! Do you reckon she's still locked up? ;) I'm not aware of many early storylines. -- AnemoneProjectors (talk) 21:34, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Barnstar

The Working Man's Barnstar
Well done for the excellent work you did on Sharon Rickman! Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 14:32, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have a cheeky request...

Could you possibly work your Gungadin magic on the article [Dr. Harold Legg]]? It's in desperate need of more content and you're the best for articles regarding early-EastEnders characters! Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 14:52, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a lot. He was a great character, and he deserves a better article, so I thought I'd better ask the best! Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 15:09, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Lofty Holloway

Just wondering, could you tell me the original purpose of Lofty? I'm writing a bit for the main EE article about the original 23, and I don't know Lofty's purpose! (Also, do you have MSN or anything?) Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 20:48, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Help!

I noticed you've been putting recent screen captures up - is there any chance you taped Friday's episode? If so, could you tell me (from the credits) who played Nina Brown - the prison family liason officer? Thanks Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 15:24, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wow thanks so much! It's not on IMDb, so did you watch the credits? Or how did you do it? Could you find out who played the other HMP officer, Kate Chole? Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 15:41, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cahill was (I think) Johnny's cell mate. Nina Brown played a bigger role than Kate Chole, so Kate Chole obviously wasn't credited... Don't worry! Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 15:52, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No Sir, I've learnt my lesson :)Gungadin 21:34, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well done!

For all the images, I'm pleased now that you're doing them for minor characters like Susie, Kate and Nina! So I ust wanted to say thanks! Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 20:57, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If it's clearer, then upload over it! Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 21:03, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
As far as I can remember, Chrissie's lawyer was a man called Mr. Cockeren or Cockerell... and I don't know Johnny's cell mate's name... so he doesn't have an article... Could you get any other characters or is it just recently you've been able to record the episodes? Trampikey (talk to me)(contribs) 21:09, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
OK, here goes:
