Democratic Union (Italy)

The Democratic Union was a little social-liberal party formed for 1996 elections by Antonio Maccanico (president of the party until 1999), Willer Bordon and Giorgio Benvenuto. In 1999 the party joined the new Romano Prodi's creature, the Democrats.
