Bound for Glory 2006 was a professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. It took place on October 22, 2006 from the Compuware Sports Arena in the Detroit, Michigan charter township of Plymouth. Tickets went on sale August 5, 2006. The tagline for the event was "A Time for Greatness". This is planned to be TNA's "biggest" pay-per-view, similar to WWE's WrestleMania.
Bound for Glory 2006 was the first TNA pay-per-view event held in a location other than Nashville, Tennessee, or Orlando, Florida, since the first two weekly pay-per-views in June 2002, which were held in Huntsville, Alabama. The Compuware Sports Arena was also the site of the first TNA house show.
A half-hour special called "TNA: Road to Glory" aired at midnight the night before. [2]

- Roode pinned Hoyt after a Payoff. Prior to the match, Bobby Roode announced that he wanted to be called "Robert Roode" from now on, and introduced Traci Brooks as his new manager.
- Austin Starr won the "Kevin Nash Open Invitational X Division Gauntlet Battle Royal" (17:24)
