Akividu is a town located in West Godavari district,state of Andhra Pradesh, India.It is a Panchayat. Geographical co-ordinates are 16°36'North,81°23'East. It is located 437 km from Hyderabad, 288 km from Visakhapatnam, 85 km from Vijayawada and 18 km from Bhimavaram.

History

Akividu is famous for agriculture (rice paddys), and the fish and prawn export business. This town hadto ponds for fish and prawn exporting business.

The second largest lake in the state , Kolleru, can be reached through Akividu town.
