My deepest apologies
looks like you are wright , I deleted your comment at Talk:American, but it was absolutely by mistake. I actually do not understand how this happened. Should I post it again for you as a token of my guilt? There was no bad intention at all. Thank you for pointing it out, I will be more carefully in the future.Godot 23:40, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
Actually I just put it back, it was my mistake, so my responsibility to solve it. Sorry again.Godot 23:59, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

Images
This is the picture I linked to Image:Waddesdon, towers.gif, it's fine when scaled down. What do you think? I like it because it does not come down heavily on any one individual country's style; and if the caption does not give a location could be anywhere. Giano | talk 19:15, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
Hello Carptrash: Thank you for your contributions to the U.S. Merchant Marine page. You may know that the accuracy of the caption for your photo: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Merchantmarines2.jpg is in question. I have supplied a link on the discussion page that points to evidence that some WW II merchant mariners did receive gunnery training, although it appears that such training would have been the exception rather than the rule. Still, a wiki editor's tag questioning the accuracy of your caption remains.
Would you be willing to re-cast the caption? The photo description could be re-phrased so it refers to a gunnery position on a merchant ship, thus sidestepping the issue of whether the gunners are merchant mariners? That way your good photo would still be in play, and we rid of the ugly disclaimer or dispute tag on the article. Best regards, Fishdecoy 17:20, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
Stars in the northern hemisphere
The crux of the matter is, I have never noticed seeing that constellation. Visiting the northern hemisphere in recent times, I failed to see stars pretty much at all, it was summer and the sun is there for so long and then the haze ... I once camped in the mountains of Washington state, and there were many stars, but I was not gazing at them and figuring out constellations. So really it is about reading of foreign countries and past times ... I do say it was not the best chosen username :-) People seemed to have trouble with even saying it though. Regards--A Y Arktos\talk 19:48, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you for your photo, I enjoyed it very much. I have tried to take pictures of stars with my digital camera and failed miserably. Did you use an ordinary digital camera? Are there any special tricks? Mine seems too automatic to allow me to adjust the exposure time to be long enough. Regards--A Y Arktos\talk 11:22, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
- Hi thanks for that info - I too have an Olympus camera (C740UZ) but had not tried the moon and stars symbol - I really found the paper manual not useful and the manual on the CD of course not that accessible. The thing I like best about this camera is the 10 times zoom - I couldn't imagine not having that capability. Tonight, should it be clear, I will be out trying out the moon and stars. (You prompted me to write the article on my camera :-) )Regards--A Y Arktos\talk 00:38, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:ASMoorlandFlight.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:ASMoorlandFlight.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Musical Controversy / Potential Edit War -- Help?
Hello, Carptrash. I hope you remember me from Hal Blaine and the Memphis Jug Band. I am looking for some help with concensus on a musical issue and am inviting you to participate. Rather than prejudice your thinking, i will simply say that it involves a song by David Allan Coe called Nigger Fucker. In order to understand the flow of events, i suggest that you read the history of the page, and read through the revisions in date order (there are not an overhwleming number), then go to the talk page. Basically, there is a conflict between those who feel it is valuable to note what the song is about and those who wiish to "clean it up" to the point that there is no mention of the controversy between satire versus racism. Things became very heated when Shel Silverstein's name was dragged into it (why? Go figure...) and there is a user who is bsically reverting the article to a stub every few hours. I have never been in this sort of a conflict before, and i want to do what is right. I am not looking for people on "my side," just for people who have experience editing music pages who can bring some calmth to the situation. Thanks for looking it over, if you have time, and, if not, thanks for at least allowing me to ask for help. Catherineyronwode 00:38, 4 May 2006 (UTC)

Hi and Goodbye
Hi Cartrash -- and goodbye. I am leaving WP due to my disgust with incivility and special-interest editing. It's nothing important, just a bunch of religious fanatics refusing to let the facts be known about their guru's racism, but after two weeks of unremitting rudeness, i have had enough. It's time to go back to my own web pages and do my own thing. I may be back some day, but i don't know when. It was nice meeting you. Catherineyronwode 13:05, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

Esther Hicks dispute
Hi, I'm embroiled in a dispute with MaxMangel about edits he wants to include in the Esther Hicks article. He wants to include a statement about the lack of proof on Esther's website for her teachings, but so far his proposed edits seem to me to be uncited edits that are POV and don't meet WP:NOR, WP:V and WP:NPOV.
Here is the first edit by Max that I removed because it was clearly an opinion not backed up by a reliable source. Now his current proposed statement is "A thorough examining of her website reveals no attempt to evidence her teachings.", which strikes me as just plain wrong since it is such a broad statement, not to mention skirting closely to violating Wikipedia policy.
I'm afraid I may have gotten caught up in the opinion of an editor on the Village Pump and may have created my own statement that violates NOR, RS and NPOV.
I just wanted to get another opinion or two. Perhaps Max's comment is fine and I'm just not seeing it for some reason. I saw your earlier involvement in a discussion with him around "proven or unproven" and thought you could provide some valuable insight.
Thanks! - Dreadlocke 23:51, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
- Good to hear from you, thanks for the response! My sympathies on moving, that is always a tough thing to go through! Max seems to be determined to attack Esther, but with his inability to find credible sources, it's a difficult thing to do beyond applying the standard skeptical view that exists on all things paranormal. I'll try to hold the fort until you get back... :) - Dreadlocke 17:01, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

Washington, D.C. statuary
Thanks for updating the information on my images. It's something I've been meaning to work on, but there just always seems to be so many other things to do. My personal pet project will be to gather as much information and take as many pictures as possible of the public statuary here in the District. Hopefully there will be plenty more for you to get involved with. Also the National Portrait Gallery and the Museum of American Art just opened up down the street from me, so I may start adding some pictures from there. Let me know if there is anything you would like pictures of here in Washington, I'm always looking for excuses to enjoy the arts here in Washington, and to take pictures. Incidentally, that Wired article you were in was the one that got me hooked on wikipedia. Small world huh?--Niro5 14:29, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

Martinez revisited
Thanks for your additions to the Martinez page. The gravestone photo was a pleasant surprise. I am going to be out there next week, and plan to hit the Martinez Hacienda, as I never went there in the 22 years I lived in New Mexico, and to see what sorts of books I can get on Martinez while I'm there. I'd like to get that article to "Good Article" status someday. Also, I hope to get a couple of photos in Mora to build-up the Ceran St. Vrain article, which was my very first wiki attempt back before I was a real wikipediean, and which I have neglected badly ever since. --Murcielago 16:44, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
- Awesome idea. I do like the beer! And I haven't been to Taos in a good while. I'll be in the North Monday-Wednesday. I don't know your schedule, but I will be pretty darn flexible. I'll touch base with you once I'm out there, and have my bearings together. --Murcielago 03:26, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

Unspecified source for Image:My-Generation--2.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:My-Generation--2.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Petr K 19:53, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
I'm not real good
at wending my way through all the wikipedia mazes, but . . . . . ...... it appears to me that you deleted an article called Connor Barrett on July 31, 2006. I was wondering if that was the case and if so, do you mind discussing it with me? Carptrash 22:14, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
- The article was deleted as it appeared (and continues to appear) to be an article about a real person which does not assert the notability or importance of the subject. WP:BIO has guidelines about when an individual is considered notable enough for inclusion, WP:CSD has information on when articles can be deleted without discussion, and WP:DRV is the normal place to go if wish to dispute a deletion. (Asking the admin who deleted it is also valid.)
- If you wish the article to continue to be included on Wikipedia, a good way to do so would be to detail, in the article, how the subject meets WP:BIO guidelines, and cite your sources, which should be reliable. This way, the article will be verifiable. Stifle (talk) 22:44, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
I have no opinion on this, but Stifle should have alerted Carptrash, using {{nn-warn}}. I have restored it, putting {{importance}}, and Zoe has put it on Afd. dab (ᛏ) 22:54, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the wikipedia links as to what should be included, i shall check them out, but here is my References section as it appears in the article and it appears to me to include some very solid sources.

- P.S. My wife thinks that I take wikipedia too seriously and i wonder it i am not proving her right? In any case, I went to the first link that you provided and found this.
This guideline is not Wikipedia policy (and indeed the whole concept of notability is contentious) and Many Wikipedians oppose the use of this guideline. Then I discover The fact that an article doesn't meet guidelines on this page, does not necessarily mean it qualifies for speedy deletion.
- And so it goes. I'll look over the other links that you have provided because you were good enough to include them, but please keep in mind that with one jab of your DELETE finger you undo hours of my efforts. Carptrash 23:53, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for your reply.
- Firstly, please be aware that just because a page is marked as a guideline does not mean that it can be unilaterally ignored, and most guidelines have broad consensus.
- Secondly, there is a difference between an article that does not meet WP:BIO and an article that can be speedily deleted. Please keep in mind that thousands of articles are created each day on Wikipedia, and since Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information, it is not possible to include biographical articles on all of the billions of people who live or have ever lived on Earth. As a result, articles that have no assertion of notability (as in, do not make any case whatsoever for inclusion) are liable to be deleted on sight. We do not mean to undo your efforts (and in any case, archives of all deleted material are preserved and can be restored by admins), but please understand that without this speedy deletion policy Wikipedia would be hopelessly bogged down in articles about random teenagers who get bored in class.
- Thanks for listening. As the vote currently stands 3-2 in favour of retaining your article, it looks likely that it will be retained. Stifle (talk) 00:10, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

- Thanks for getting back to me and I am sorry that I became irritable so soon. I deal in sculpture history and many of the artists that I am interested in are not well known and in fact i see wikipedia as a way to get them better aknowledged. I am not a dealer or someone who stands to gain from this, it is just the niche that I inhabit for a good part of every day. Life is good. Carptrash 00:21, 9 August 2006 (UTC) . . . . ... - Experts in niches are especially needed on wikipedia. Due to the rather aggressive nature of people who want to make articles on their girlfriends and garage bands, the new page patrol is also somewhat aggressive in marking innappropriate content for deletion. To avoid this in the future, you can work on articles in your User space, and then copy it to the main article space when it is ready. Articles that assert the importance of their subject are not candidates for speedy deletion. (The assertion may be questioned at AfD, but that is a deliberative process that gives you a chance for input.) Good luck. Thatcher131 (talk) 01:04, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

Experts in niches
Experts in niches are especially needed on wikipedia. Due to the rather aggressive nature of people who want to make articles on their girlfriends and garage bands, the new page patrol is also somewhat aggressive in marking inappropriate content (or that which appears so) for deletion. To avoid this in the future, you can work on articles in your User space, and then copy it to the main article space when it is ready. Regarding importance--the specific issue of the day--articles that do not assert the importance of their subject are candidates for speedy deletion, while articles that do assert importance, however imperfectly, need to be discussed at AfD. It would help if the article said something like "he was one of the leading artists in the Foo school of postmodernism" rather than "he carved a mural for a block of flats" (which is what it looks like it says now). (where was the Temptation carved for anyway) In other words, I think the article needs a little better focus. And, if you had taken this to deletion review (assuming no admin had turned over the deletion) it would have been an easy call to restore for more work.
Regarding poetry, I wanted to point out that you can include some very small bits of poetry under the Fair Use doctrine but using larger exerpts or whole works would be a violation of copyright law. You might want to read the wikipedia policies on copyright and Fair Use. Good luck. Thatcher131 (talk) 01:17, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
Arts
You might like to sign up for some arts projects. See here. I have a particular interest in the arts (and I'm an admin) so let me know if I can help out any time. William Redgrave is one of my creations. The arts are the poor relative in wiki, a fact acknowledged by Jimmy Wales: "Wales also said that he is keen to upgrade Wikipedia's humanities coverage, which will be upgraded by good quality art editors." [1] Tyrenius 01:07, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
Re. Barrett, I advise you to keep working on it while the AfD is in progress. If you can enlarge it substantially, you can state as such in the middle of the AfD. Key points are 1) to state his achievements e.g. list of sculptures, list of shows, any awards 2) use any comments made about him by notable people or the media 3) back it up with references. Simplest way to reference is by putting square brackets either end of a URL, and then attaching that to the end of the relevant sentence. Proper footnotes are even better. Some useful guides here. Tyrenius 01:30, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
Caspar Buberl shows good research, but its big weakness is the lack of footnotes with references. I've found that now it's not enough to just list resources. Check out Vincent van Gogh for use of references with a vengeance. Tyrenius 02:09, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
Whether or not that was the case two years ago, I don't know, but it's becoming de rigeur nowadays. It is also the best way to make sure your assertions are accepted and your articles don't get deleted! Tyrenius 02:34, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
However, I found it easier to just follow examples first in articles and see how it was done. William Redgrave is good for citing newspapers and web sites. Tyrenius 02:46, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
William Redmond is an Irish politician (without footnotes) so you obviously are sticking with Redgrave. Tyrenius 03:09, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
Check out the visual arts project where I've mentioned Connor Barrett. It would be good to work with the project to get backing to avoid a repetition of this case. However, one thing is to make sure even a stub has a clear assertion of notability. Tyrenius 05:31, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
Image
Check it out as it's going to get deleted. [2]. Permission has to be licenced under GFDL, i.e. anyone can use it, not just wiki. Also you can't quote a whole poem. 2-4 lines would be OK. Tyrenius 02:57, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
I've cleaned up the image tag as fair use, so it should be OK. Tyrenius 07:07, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

carcass photo
I see :) Yes, the photo scrapes OR territory, but I don't mind keeping it around until we get something less ambiguous. Regarding C Barrett, of course I thought it very obvious the article should be kept, but since I had already taken it upon myself to undelete it, I wanted to abstain in the vote, trusting that the Afd result would be overwhelmingly 'keep' anyway. regards, dab (ᛏ) 08:50, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

Added more
I added a few more words and phrases to your "opinion" section on the talk page. Ungovernable ForceThe Wiki Kitchen! 20:37, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
- Nope. It was actually your comments on Talk:Neoshamanism. I tried to improve that page a bit today. I might go back later. I'm sorta interested in that stuff, but not really active in it or anything. I did write an article (more of a stub really) on one of Hank Wesselman's books (The Journey to the Sacred Garden) and have edited his page a bit. He taught my "Magic, Witchcraft and Religion" anthropology class last semester. It was very interesting, and I did try to do some drumming visions a couple times, but it didn't work too well. I'm thinking of trying some other time, but it's been a while since my last attempt. Not sure how I feel about all that stuff really, but I thought it would be nice to explore a bit. Well, I'll probably see you around. Ungovernable ForceThe Wiki Kitchen! 06:19, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
I wonder if you could write a couple of sentences in the article about the book whose cover is shown. I think it would be a valuable addition to the article to have some description of what the book contains and maybe some short quotes. See article talk page. Thanks. License tagging for Image:Fielding Yost-1902.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Fielding Yost-1902.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Anthropology wikiproject?
Based on your editing neoshamanism and traveling all over the place, I thought you might be interested in helping me set up a wikiproject for anthropology. If so, send me a message. I searched the user space for any user pages that had the word "anthropology" on them, and I'm guessing that 90% of the users I've looked at haven't contributed for months, many for a year or more. I'm getting desperate. Do you know much about anthro? Ungovernable ForceThe Wiki Kitchen! 11:31, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
- Well, nothing is set up yet, I was looking for people to help create it. Sounds like you're busy though, so if it ever get's created I'll give you the link. You can do what you can. Maybe you can work on religion based articles since you're interested in that area. Ungovernable ForceThe Wiki Kitchen! 20:01, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Eddie-Boyd-Top-L copy.jpg.
Thank you. Fritz Saalfeld (Talk) 18:36, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Eddie-Boyd-Top-L copy.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Eddie-Boyd-Top-L copy.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fritz Saalfeld (Talk) 18:36, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
Photo
The article does specifically mention the magazine, which leads to fair use justification. There would be a stronger case if you were to add a little more about Life's use of it, and why this is important, for example. The point is that the article text must not just be about the subject of the photo, but about the magazine specifically. If you do upload it, make sure you uses the right fair use tag. Consult with me if in doubt. Tyrenius 23:43, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

What was the title of the image. The only ones I deleted recently were uploaded by User:Abominación. -Nv8200p talk 20:40, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Glad to be of service; tracked down a couple more for you too. :) Sounds like a cool show! — Catherine\talk 03:58, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
- <grin> I didn't think "Hungry Like the Wolf" needed suggesting as a "Wolf" song, it's the one everyone knows. But I hope you like the article! — Catherine\talk 04:20, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
Foxy Lady?
Does this count? Hamster Sandwich 04:03, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
There is a Hamster Dance. And the theme from The Hammy Hamster Show which incidently was the first song I ever learned to play on guitar. I'll keep you posted, I love a challenge! Peace! Hamster Sandwich 04:12, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
Civil War photos
Einar, I really liked your Hillsboro, OH Civil War monument photo (I grew up in southern Ohio), and used it on my Ohio in the Civil War page, as well as on the associated template. GREAT photo! Thanks for sharing it on Wikipedia! Scott Mingus 20:55, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
- In my opinion, I would only use 1 NC monument photo - the side shot of the entire sculpture, and would place it in the body of the article, not as a trailing gallery. Scott Mingus 11:19, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
John Marshall vandalism
Thanks for your note, but anyone can and should fix petty vandalism; it comes with the job description of being an editor here. The ones I admire are the users who make recent changes patrol part of their job description and pore over as many edits as they can, just for that. I'm glad to know someone else is keeping an eye on John Marshall; I have all Supreme Court Justices on my watchlist for a project I'm working on, but Marshall is a favorite. Regards, Newyorkbrad 02:19, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
- I too double-check anon contributions to my watchlisted articles, but I wouldn't support a move to registered-user-only editing, because I know that if I hadn't had a few days to experiment as an IP contributor, I almost certainly wouldn't have signed up for an account. It's a familiar story: casual reader sees something missing or wrong in an article, remembers that "anyone can edit," edits, likes the feeling of having added a nugget of content, gets hooked. That wouldn't have happened if I'd had to officially register the first time. Regards, Newyorkbrad 02:30, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
There Their and They're
I copied a pre-existing userbox. Whoever made the userbox didn't include they're in it. But it's a good idea! ~ ONUnicorn (Talk / Contribs) 16:14, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
- I went to the template page for the userbox and changed it. Does that raise my follow through grade? ~ ONUnicorn (Talk / Contribs) 19:11, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
Youngstown, Ohio
Sorry, I am originally from there but don't live there currently. Try users Blue80 or YNG. --Daysleeper47 17:45, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
- I may be able to help the next time I'm in Youngstown (pretty often, since I'm based in the Columbus area), depending on what type of camera you'd require. If you could give me more information, that'd be great. Blue80 14 October 2006
Why, thank you!
But you could have reverted the damage yourself, you know. Check out WP:REVERT to see the instructions. You just have to go backwards through the page history until you find the version of the article that hasn't been mucked with. (Usually it's only one or two edits back, but sometimes it takes longer.) Then you click on the date and time for that entry and then click "edit this page". A red box comes up saying that you're editing an outdated version; ignore that and type in "revert vandalism" or something similar for your edit summary, and save the page. Presto! You're looking at a cleaned-up version. Reverting vandalism is fun! -- Merope 21:01, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
Why, thank you!
Thanks for the barnstar! I appreciate it, although I was just following the manual of style... :-) Confiteordeo 19:52, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

Art History (Again!)
Carptrash--thanks for your hyperlinks...i dont mind your input at all. ive given the project a good think, and im convinced that the 2 articles (art h & h of art should be merged! its a silly distinction to begin with. how to i bring the 2 pages together? do i need to be an admin? or is there an easier way? I certainly dont want to bite off more than i can chew, if you follow me...your advice would be very helpful....Julie

Thanks, mate
Thanks for the update to the U.S. Merchant Marine page and for ridding the page of the "dispute" tag.
Keep up the excellent work on Wikipedia. Best regards, Fishdecoy 00:48, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

- Thanks for replying. Yeah, so far I have received replies from the friendly only. :) Maybe I will get the contentious later (because I am new here). That is why I keep exploring here. :) I try to reply everything in a friendly manner because that is me. :) I am glad that your mother found my mother-land beautiful. I have had also such a heavy heart to leave it. I promise myself to come back there if I have a chance to do it (this is because I am very busy right now with my school). Do you (and your mother) want to spend some holidays there? :) Once again, thanks. Yves Revi 13:18, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
- Wew, that sounds nice. Where do they live now? Still in Indonesia? If yes, maybe we can meet once in our life. :) Yup, as you say, the life is good, and, beautiful. La vita e bella. Is that right? Anyway, I would like to say, "Nice to know you." :) Yves Revi 21:27, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
Re: References
Hi. Sorry for the late reply - I haven't had a chance to edit much lately. I may be mistaken, but as far as I know, source information for images goes directly on the image pages, not in the articles where they're used. Wikipedia:Citing sources doesn't even mention images. Pictures can be removed from articles (leaving unused references), or added to other articles (where the references would not follow). Adding the information directly to the image pages avoids both problems. Hope my logic makes sense. - EurekaLott 04:50, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
- Sullivan's banks are fascinating, aren't they? I don't know if they all deserve articles, but the ones on the National Register certainly could have articles written about them. Perhaps it would be best to start with one article that covers all of the banks. Individual articles could be split off later once they're long enough. For the Sullivan article, unsued items listed in the references section could be removed, or they could be moved to a "Further reading" section, as specified in the guide to layout. - EurekaLott 06:23, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
- Whether you start individual articles or one overview article depends on how much you intend to write, I suppose. If you don't have enough material to make them longer than stubs, then perhaps the single article would be best. Or, you could create articles for some of them and summarize them all in the overview. And yes, like you said, redirects can be created for the ones that don't yet exist. - EurekaLott 19:53, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
Thanks!
Thank you for the Thumbs Up Award, I really appreciate your kind gesture. :-) Best regards.--Húsönd 15:37, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
License tagging for Image:MestrovicMilwaukee1.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:MestrovicMilwaukee1.jpg.
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 19:09, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
