Hiya. Take a look at my latest contribution on the Olga page. I think you might get the joke! ÉÍREman
Was it you who posted the Current Event about the missing viruses? I have searched to find such a news story about it, but I can't find out. Can you point me in the right direction? Kingturtle 02:42 Apr 18, 2003 (UTC)
Thanks for the intentions behind the warning on copyright violations, Zoe, but I have never violated copyright. As I noted on the VFD page, I was reverting Nick Rhodes so that I could remove the copyrighted material on which the first article by User:Squigglybee was based, so that all the hard original work I've done on it in the last few days could be preserved. I'm having a DOH! moment as I realize I shouldn't have saved the article until the excision was finished, but this is the first time I've ever reverted a page.
I am, however, a good and honest writer, and a very well-informed Duran fan -- I maintain The Duran Duran Timeline. I've worked very hard to write original, fact-filled and neutral articles on Duran Duran, Rio, John Taylor (Duran Duran) and numerous related articles, and to turn Squigglybee's dreck on Rhodes into a decent article. I wish I had caught that it was copied in the first place; I'd have just deleted it and begun anew, but since "she" was a new user, I thought she was just overenthusiastic and less than literate, and tried to preserve what she had offered and add my own knowledge.
Anyway, I'm rambling. I thank you for the effort, and I don't take offense; I'll delete this in a day or so after we're all settled. Cheers! Catherine 03:39 Apr 18, 2003 (UTC)
No problem; it would have made me nervous too. :) All fixed now. Catherine
ZOE!!!!! I'm shocked. You of all people! :-) Heir Apparent and Heir Presumptive as formal constitutional terms that are generally treated as proper nouns, hence the capitalisation. And you are normally so right on most things! I am in shock. (Good job Lir/ . . . . Fiber isn't here for she'd be crowing as jtd/zoe disagreeing on something. :-) ÉÍREman 23:49 Apr 19, 2003 (UTC)
